Two men were traveling together while a bear suddenly met them. One of them climbed up into the tree. The other, seeing that he must be attacked, immediate lay on his back on the ground. When the bear came up, feeling him with his nose and smelt him all over, he held breath. The bear soon left him, for it’s said that a bear won’t touches a dead body. When he was gone, the other travelers went down from the tree. It is real a good chance to have met all of you here. We have spent several precious weekend in learning in the English Club. Last week our school hold a sports meeting. Realize it was our last school sports meeting, we decided to make it a unforgettable experience. We first attended the opening ceremony, for whom our class had made a lot of preparations. Much to our excitements, our performance was a success. My classmates participated various events such as running, the high jump and the long jump. Due to the hard training the athletes had done before, and their performance was very impressive. You may have experienced the annoyance of being fined because of parking illegally or finding your car towed away(拖走)after leaving it parked somewhere for a couple of minutes.But now a high-tech car sticker that’s designed to be stuck to a car’s windscreen could help motorists avoid such a situation.
The TowStop sticker sends a text message to a driver when touched by a traffic policeman,to allow motorists to send a reply and give them time to move their cars immediately.Frankfurt-based IT consultant,Daniel Kalliontzis,came up with the idea and is raising money to put his 54(£43) sticker into production.
Car owners can put the sticker inside their car’s windscreen,having set it up with key information,such as their phone number.The slim design will include a sensor(传感器)that,when touched by a traffic policeman,will send a text message warning a driver of a possible fine.The driver could then type a reply for the policeman using a smartphone,which will appear on the sticker’s screen.
The smart sticker system will rely on the good will of traffic policemen and in a way,a German law.The law states:an officer has to choose the most efficient and inexpensive way for the car owner to remove the vehicle.It could be cheaper for the government to call the driver than to tow his car.
Mail Online asked the Department of Transport whether the sticker could be used in the UK in a similar way.A spokesman said,“In England there is no legal duty to warn the motorist before issuing the ticket.However,a policeman does have the discretion not to issue a ticket if he doesn’t think the situation is that bad or he just wants to issue a warning.”
So far,Mr.Kalliontzis has raised just over 3,000(£2,362)of his 50,000(£39,381) goal.If he manages to raise the money,the stickers will be shipped in June 2015.But it appears that car owners using the smart system could get some unnecessary warning messages,because anyone could touch the smart sticker.

Tu Youyou, the first Chinese Nobel Prize winner in medicine, who was born in 1930 in Zhejiang Province. She won the prize for his amazing contribution to the development of artemisinin (青蒿素), a highly effective treatment for malaria(虐疾). Her story is considered an inspired one.
In the last century, many people suffered from malaria, a dead disease which took away many lives every year. So Tu was determined to find a cure with it. She worked as hard as she could, asked for neither fame or fortune. Eventually, her efforts paid off. Tu and her team discovered artemisinin in 1971, that proved an effective medicine for treating malaria. Since then millions of lives had been saved across the globe. Tu’s successful story tells us that only if we are determined we go on the road to success.

During my last winter holiday, I went to countryside with my father to visit my grandparents. I find a big change there. The first time I went there, they were living in a small house with dogs, ducks, and another animals. Last winter when I went here again, they had a big separate house to raise dozens of chicken. They also had a small pond which they raised fish. My grandpa said last summer they earned quite a lot by sell the fish. I felt happily that their life had improved. At the end of our trip, I told my father that I planned to return for every two years, but he agreed.
