    4．A Kindle is a product from Amazon which allows you to download books and read them anywhere，without having to carry around lots of heavy books．It is also really useful when you go on holiday if you read a lot and quickly．
    I bought my Kindle two years ago after seeing my sister with one．Before，I didn't want one，as I love the satisfaction that comes from reading a book from cover to cover．However，one day，after using my sister's I fell in love with it．It is easy to download any book you can imagine from the website．One minute you see the book online，the next it is in your hands．And you can read a wide range of books-from classic books such as Pride and Prejudice and works by Shakespeare，to modern comedy books．
    Another thing I love about the Kindle is the  privacy．You can read absolutely anything on there and nobody will know!For example，if you want to read a book which might be advertised as a children's book，you can secretly read it and everyone will believe you are reading a deeply thoughtful novel!
    Reading a Kindle gives you a chance to escape the real world．You can also do this with normal books，but the secrecy and excitement of downloading a new book onto your device adds to the magic．
    This doesn't mean I have completely given up reading physical books．I still love them．I often go into old bookshops and find a well-known novel for￡1，or borrow old books from my grandfather's library．There is a worry that with all this new technology there will no longer be a place for physical books，which would be a crying shame．So，I definitely recommend getting yourself a Kindle，but please，don't forget about physical books，either!

    Bellevue University professor Cleveland Evans says that the results may reflect a growing concern about financial security among parents．"Polls show that many Americans are worried about the economy，"Evans points out．As a result，parents may be more focused on questions of success when choosing a name than they were five years ago．
    The survey also indicates that parents have become more egalitarian．Five years ago，just 60percent of expectant parents said each parents'opinion was equally important when choosing a name，but that number has increased to 84percent in the survey．"In addition to being in the delivery room and taking time off work for paternity leave（父亲假），this is one more way in which modern dads are participating more actively，"says Murray．
    Results from the survey seem to indicate that fathers exert（施加） the most influence on boys'names．As Dad's opinion increases in importance，strength replaces individuality as the quality parents most want their son's name to convey．For girls'names，individuality remains the most important feature．
