The report found that current smokers are cutting down on cigarettes．Among current cigarette smokers，the proportion（比例） of those who smoke every day was 76.9% in 2015，decreasing from 80.8% in 2005．
"But as for my advice，reducing a few cigarettes a day instead of quitting completely does not produce significant health benefits，"McAfee said．"Smokers who quit before they're 40years old can live 10years longer．"
