【题目】Who are we and what do we do?
Since National Theatre Live was launched in June 2009, we’ve broadcast more than forty productions live, from both the National Theatre and other theatres in the UK.
Our broadcasts have now been experienced by over 5.5 million people in over 2,000 venues around the world, including over 650 venues in the UK alone. Past broadcasts from the National Theatre have included Danny Boyles’ Frankenstein with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, War Horse; Man and Superman with Ralph Fiennes.
Broadcasts from other UK theatres include Coriolanus from the Donmar Warehouse; Macbeth from the Manchester International Festival; Our biggest single broadcast to date is Hamlet with Benedict Cumberbatch at the Barbican, which has been seen by over 550,000 people.
How do we do it?
Though each broadcast is filmed in front of a live audience in the theatre, cameras are carefully positioned throughout the theatre to ensure that cinema audiences get the “best seat in the house” view of each production.

As is often the case, when people are attending to meetings, having meals or waiting for buses, you can always find them addicting to their phones, completely ignoring others.
This is really a common phenomena in our life. The reason is why smart phones nowadays can be used for people to play mobile games and kept in touch with friends through QQ and WeChat. Therefore, too much exposure to phones are bad for people in terms of health. Moreover, people involved in phones fail to communicate well with these around them.
As far as I am concerned, people should wisely make use of their phones to help their work and study. Meanwhile, care much about their family and friends rather than mobile phones.

Last Thursday we go to Mianshan Mountain for our autumn outing.We got the foot of the mountain at 9 am. One day, I was walking along the street while a stranger stopped me and asked me the way to the new restaurant. I told him the route and direction carefully. Can dogs and cats live in perfect harmony in the same home? People who are thinking about adopting a dog as a friend for their cats are worried that they will fight. A recent research has found a new recipe for success. According to the study, if the cat is adopted before the dog, and if they are introduced when still young (less than 6 months for cats, a year for dogs), it is highly probable that the two pets will get along swimmingly. Twothirds of the homes interviewed reported a positive relationship between their cat and dog.
However, it wasn't all sweetness and light. There was a reported coldness between the cat and dog in 25% of the homes, while aggression and fighting were observed in 10% of the homes. One reason for this is probably that some of their body signals are just opposite. For example, when a cat turns its head away it signals aggression, while a dog doing the same signals submission.
In homes with cats and dogs living peacefully, researchers observed a surprising behavior. They are learning how to talk each other's language. It is a surprise that cats can learn how to talk “Dog”， and dogs can learn how to talk “Cat”.
What's interesting is that both cats and dogs have appeared to develop their intelligence. They can learn how to read each other's body signals, suggesting that the two may have more in common than was previously suspected. Once familiar with each other's presence and body language, cats and dogs can play together, greet each other nose to nose, and enjoy sleeping together on the sofa. They can easily share the same water bowl and in some cases groom (梳理) each other.
The significance of this research on cats and dogs may go beyond pets — to people who don't get along, including neighbors, colleagues at work, and even world superpowers. If cats and dogs can learn to get along, surely people have a good chance.

Last summer vacation I did some fruit-picking. It was an interesting but pretty hard work. I had to start at 7 am and pick eight hours. But it was such cheerful and full of funny. Some of we had guitars, so in the evenings we had barbecues and play a bit of music together. I only got about $80 a week, but at least they gave me all my meal, and the food was not that awfully. Basic accommodation was also supplying. However, I’m afraid I won’t be going fruit-picking this summer, because I’ve got a temporary job in town what pays better.
