Dear mum,

How are you? Mother’s day is drawing near, and I would like to say“Happy mother’s day”here. I love you and thank you so much for everything you did for me. Thank you for so many years of my education and training. I’m very grateful to you for taking care of me.

In my heart are many beautiful memories. I always made you angry, but you were always very understanding. When I was sick, you were always in every possible way taking care of me. When I failed the examination, you always encouraged me to cheer up and not to lose heart. You always encouraged me to help others who are in trouble. When I did good deeds, you were always thinking highly of me. I am really thankful to you for your teaching me how to be “a real person”.

Now I have grown up, and I feel that I should not be so naive. I will not live up to your expectations! I will work harder and make greater progress in my study for my ideal university. I’m sorry but I stay away and can‘t give you my appreciation at home. Mum, I am doing very well on my study. My schoolmates and teachers are all very nice, so don‘t worry about me.
