I¡¯m tiring. I¡¯ve been digging all day and I¡¯ll be doing same tomorrow. But I¡¯ve never had so many fun. As an archaeology student, I have already knew something about the Qin Tomb. Most Chinese child can tell you Qin Shihuang first joined China together. He was a brilliant ruler, and he was also a cruel man. When he became king, he immediate ordered workers to construct an underground tomb, which it is said to contain great treasures. But the actual entrance to the tomb has ever been found, nor has the tomb been opened. It¡¯s said that if everyone steps across the entrance, the crossbows will fire.

The First World War postcard has¡¾1¡¿(final) been sent after many years. It is a very old postcard. This postcard was from a 19-year old soldier, Alfred, during the First World War. He¡¾2¡¿(write) this postcard and sent it to his lovely sister Nell¡¾3¡¿January 1916. The postcard is dated 1916 and¡¾4¡¿is a cartoon picture of a new solider on the front.
Alfred has written to his sister, ¡°Dear Nell, just¡¾5¡¿postcard to let you know I have not forgotten you. On the other side you will see our orders for next week. I will need your pity. Write to me, your brother Alfred.¡± Sadly, Alfred¡¾6¡¿(kill) in a flight in 1918 before the card arrived. ¡¾7¡¿(year) later, his sister died in 1964.
The postcard is marked 1916 and again September 2010 when it was stamped to arrive. But the postman couldn¡¯t find the¡¾8¡¿(receive) any more. The post office said it was out of the question that the card was with¡¾9¡¿(they) all the time. They regularly cleaned out their offices and post boxes. The¡¾10¡¿(postcard) history for the last 94 years is still a mystery.

Dear editor£¬
I am a student from a key school. Therefore, I find myself tiring of studying all these days, which worries me a lot of. Though I often got high marks in exams, I don't like it at all. I often think all the subject will become useless while I grow up except English. So I am eager to learn and practice English in my spare time. But I have to spend most of my time solve problems in maths, and chemistry to prepare for the college entrance examination. I also can't afford live up to my parents' high expectations. How do you think I should do with this situation?

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Children grow quickly, especially their feet, but many families cannot buy new shoes each time a child needs them. As a result, about 300 million children around the world go barefoot. Those children risk picking up diseases and parasites from the soil.
An American man may have a solution for those barefoot kids ¡ª a shoe that grows with the child. Kenton Lee is the creator of The Shoe That Grows. He explains how the shoe works and how it is able to last so long.
¡°It grows in three places: the front; it can also grow on the side with Velcro; and on the back with our buckle. It can last up to five years. The bottom is compressed rubber like tire rubber. The top is just high-quality leather.¡± The shoe comes in two sizes: small that fits children aged 4 to 9 and large for children aged 9 to 14.
Lee says he got the idea for the shoe while working as a volunteer in an orphanage in Kenya. ¡°¡ and there was a little girl in a white dress walking next to me. And I just remember looking down and seeing how small her shoes were. They were just way too small for her feet. They were so small that she had to cut open the front of her shoes to let her toes stick out. And I just remember thinking, wouldn't it be nice if there were a pair of shoes that could grow with her feet?¡±
However, Lee says it was not easy to turn his idea into a reality. ¡°I kept writing down I should do this because of this or because of that. All these reasons why it really was important for me to try to make the shoes that could grow and try to help.¡± Finally, in 2009 Lee founded a non-profit organization called Because International. In the office of Because International, Lee keeps a pair of his own shoes to help him remember his promise. ¡°I told myself I would not get new shoes until the idea was done. So, those are the shoes that I wore for a little over five years.¡±
¡¾1¡¿Which of the following is the characteristic of the newly invented shoes?
A. They are more expensive.
B. They are not so comfortable.
C. They can grow with a child.
D. They come in different sizes.
¡¾2¡¿Who is this kind of newly invented shoes intended for?
A. All the teenagers.
B. Children aged 4 to 14.
C. Middle-aged women in Africa.
D. Senior citizens with low income.
¡¾3¡¿What does Para. 4 mainly talk about?
A. How the shoes work.
B. How Lee got his inspiration.
C. How to make the new shoes.
D. Where to order this kind of shoes.
¡¾4¡¿Why does Kenton Lee keep a pair of his own shoes in the office?
A. To remind him of his promise.
B. To copy the design of them.
C. To get a change conveniently.
D. To use them as an example.

When I was in grade 5, I met an teacher who made me remembered her forever. Her family name is called Ding. And Miss Ding was a very kind women teacher. She often played games with us, and sometime she talked with us. He had a unique set of teaching methods. We students could get good marks without write so much homework. She was very so popular in the school that many teachers also liked to interact with her. There was always a big smile on face, and she seldom lost her temper. She was always patiently with us.
There are so many teachers in my heart. Whatever, Miss Ding is the most unforgettable.
