    【参考范文】

    Recently, the netizens have made a heated discussion about the on-line memorial. Some are in favour of the idea. They think that the decaying tributes to the dead left by family and friends can pollute the environment. When some people burn offerings, such as mock paper money, "clothes" and "houses," to the dead, in a symbolic offering to another world, the burning offerings can cause a big fire. When the Qingming season is coming, that people and vehicles swarm to cemeteries can cause traffic jam. The on-line memorial is promoted as a low-carbon way of mourning, as people do not have burn energy traveling to the graveyard.

    While others object to the idea. They think that traditional tomb sweeping is a feature of Chinese culture that can never be replaced by its online version. Some people think tomb sweeping is also an event for the living to get together. Besides, Qingming is an occasion for families to travel and enjoy scenes of early spring. If all things can be done on the Internet, why do we still need a tomb?

    In my opinion, I prefer to go to the graveyard to show our respects to our ancestors.
