I¡¯m glad to hear from you. Let me tell you something about Taiwan island. Taiwan lies in the west of the Pacific Ocean. North of it lies the East China Sea and southwest of it lies the South China Sea. The Taiwan Strait separates Taiwan from Fujian. Taiwan is the largest island in China. It covers an area of about 36,000 square kilometers and it has a population of over 20 million. It¡¯s rich in natural resources. Bananas, rice, tea, and so on, are famous all over the world. Its scenery is so beautiful and its climate is so pleasant that travelers throughout the world come for a visit.

Taiwanhas been part of China since ancient times. Most people of the island came from Fujian and Guangdong. The people on both sides of the straits have a strong wish to unite our motherland.

I am one of the few man who work as a nursery school teacher in London. Most of my kids come from families on problems. It's surprised how very young children understand or are aware of things that go wrong in home. This, of course, affects them and sometimes make them very difficult to deal. At such times you have to be very patient with them.

I don't think that women are natural better with children than men are. Anybody who is preparing to understand and help children, and who has the right qualities can look after them and teach them. The qualities are there, in all men and women, but most men don't use them. I think my group of children rather like being with a man for the change, especially since they don't see their fathers very much. So I don't feel I'm doing a ¡®woman's job¡¯; in fact, as a man, I feel I can bring something extra to the job.

Sandy arrived at the museum at last. She was so tired that she has to find a chair to sit on. If she sat down, she noticed nice painting on the wall. She stared with it for a long time--- such long, that she fell asleep.

Suddenly, she felt a tap on his shoulder. She looked up and saw a man on a horse wear a metal suit. He was only a sculpture a moment ago, but by now he was alive and talking to Sandy! She was so frightening that she ran down the hall.

From around the corner she could hear someone singing. She went to see what it was but there was nobody in sight.

John Brown is a London taxi driver who love going to the theatre. Last week his mother gave her two tickets for a play. The tickets were on Sunday evening. But John read some reviews of the play, that all said was a terribly one! He wouldn¡¯t go to see a play that no one liked it .So two hours before the play started, he left the ticket on the back seat of his taxi.

Perhaps someone who wanted see the play would take them. However, while John went back home, the tickets were still there. In the fact, there were four tickets on the seat. Someone has placed another pair of tickets on top of them!
