根据下文中“We had this one little red ball to play with,” Addyson told TIME for Kids. “We didn't have any electronics or phones, no iPads or TV. It was just us playing.” Addyson and Maurine still keep in touch now.(“我们有一个小红球玩,”Addyson告诉TIME for Kids。 故选A。
Addyson spent four months training with her parents, waking up before 6 a.m. to run. Meanwhile, she started fundraising by asking friends to make donations as birthday presents and clearing tables at a restaurant for tips.(Addyson花了四个月的时间和她的父母一起训练,早上6点前起床跑步。
Races are one way World Vision raises money to pay for its water projects. Runners run a race, often a 26-mile marathon or 13-mile half marathon. They ask people to support them by donating to World Vision.(比赛是世界宣明会为其水利项目筹集资金的一种方式。
She's the youngest person in World Vision history to raise more than $10,000.(她是世界宣明会历史上筹集到一万多美元的最年轻的人。)
如文中常用refer to,be called或that’s to say,such as等。
② 逻辑猜词可以根据同义词、反义词、因果关系词等猜测词义,例如,similarly,the same as,but,however,while,on the other hand,since ,because等,所猜词与这些提示词前/后面部分的含义一样、相反或是前因后果。
如第一小题,根据下文中“We had this one little red ball to play with,” Addyson told TIME for Kids. “We didn't have any electronics or phones, no iPads or TV. It was just us playing.” Addyson and Maurine still keep in touch now.(“我们有一个小红球玩,”Addyson告诉TIME for Kids。 故选A。

Jack nodded his head immediate. The doctor then wrote a prescription with instruction on how to take the Chinese medicine. When Jack tasted the medicine, he almost brings it up. I comforted him with an old saying “Good medicine for health tastes bitter to the mouth”. Jack managed to swallow them unwillingly. During his school's “College Colours Day”, a fourth-grade boy in Florida, who dreams to become a student of the University of Tennessee, wanted to wear a shirt of the university, but he didn't have one. His teacher, Laura Snyder, suggested that he should wear an orange shirt to show his spirit.
When the day finally arrived, the boy was so excited to show his shirt-an orange one with a piece of paper attached to it, on which was his homemade design of the UT logo.
