    On May 7, nineteen-year-old Hu Bin, after drinking, knocked a man to death when he was driving his sports car at an extremely fast pace between 84.1 k/h to 101.2 k/h. Hu was sentenced into prison for three years, according to the final judgment. Out of a hope for better traffic regulation and more drivers with loving hearts, Hangzhou City has since set up several special zebra crossings, which are wider, color-changed, and feature loving hearts wrapped up in the middle.
    On August 4, a sixteen-year-old girl was crashed into by a black Porsche Cayenne and dead while crossing the street in Hangzhou City. The driver, 29-year-old Wei Zhigang, and his fiancé, who was also in the car when the accident took place, were both found drunk. According to witnesses, the Porsche Cayenne was speeding at more than 80 kilometers per hour at the time. The victim, Ma Fangfang, is a waitress in a restaurant in Hangzhou. She was walking on the zebra crossing when the Porsche Cayenne violently charged toward her and knocked her away. Wei Zhigang, the driver of the Porsche Cayenne, together with his fiancé, was detained and investigated by the Public Security Organ in Hanghzhou. Ironically, the zebra crossing where the accident took place is titled the “Zebra crossing of Living Hearts” in memory of the May 7 car accident in Hangzhou.

    Most people remember their teachers as some kind of despotic(专制的) person although it isn`t always the truth. Most of them are quite nice and are always there to give us a hand when we need one, Not so long ago, you might think the teacher was “The Teacher” and was almighty(万能的) and the students were there to learn and nothing else. Now there is some kind of interactivity between the students and the teacher. To my mind, teachers are here to teach us their knowledge and to listen to what we have to say. Our teachers are now closer to their students and have created some kind of soft climate that allows us to be in class without a feeling of obligation or what so ever. Nevertheless, we can but notice that the “power” is still in the teachers` hands. If something goes wrong it is up to him or her to react properly and to carry out punishment if it is necessary.

    When I was a teenager, my dad did everything he could to advise me against becoming a brewer(啤酒制造者). He didn’t even want me anywhere near a vat(酿酒用的桶). So I did as he asked. I got good grades and went to Harvard.
    In the second year, I began to realize that I’d never done anything but go to school. So, at 24 I decided to drop out (辍学)for some time. Obviously, my parents didn’t think this was a great idea. But I felt strongly that one can’t wait till he is 65 to do what he wants to in life. Having worked for 2 years, I went back to Harvard to continue my study.
    After graduation, I got a highly-paid job in Boston. After working there five years, I wondered, “Is this what I want to be doing when I’m 50?” At that time, Americans spent good money on beer in low quality. Why not make good beer for Americans? I thought.
    I decided to quit my job to become a brewer. When I told Dad, he was astonished, but in the end he supported me. Six weeks later, at the Great American Beer Festival, my Sam Adams Boston Lager（淡啤酒） won the top prize for American beer. In the end I was destined(注定) to be a brewer. My advice to the young is simple: decide by yourselves not your seniors what you should do for a life when you are young.
