Dear Jane,

   Thank you for your trust. I can understand you quite a lot. But I don’t think you should really have to do anything special. You just try to treat others the way you would like to be treated. In other words, be friendly towards them, try to help them if they have a problem. If you do this, friends will come to you. After all, making friends and getting along with other people is another lesson you are learning.

   Still, leaving school is not a good choice and you probably couldn’t do it even if you wanted to. It’s unnecessary to try to adapt yourself to something you think others want. Just be kind and helpful when you can, get good marks and try not to worry.
