Many people think of guys as being carefree when it comes to their appearance. But in fact, a lot of guys spend plenty of time in front of the mirror. They care just as much as girls do about their body image.
Body image is a person's opinions and feelings about his or her own body and physical appearance. You appreciate your body for its capabilities and accept its imperfections.
Here are some ideas.
Recognize your strengths. Different body types are good for different things. What does your body do well? Maybe your speed, strength, or coordination makes you better than others at a certain sport. That may be basketball, table tennis, mountain biking, dancing, or even running. Or perhaps you have non-sports skills, like drawing, painting, singing, playing a musical instrument, writing, or acting.
Exercise regularly. Exercise can help you look well and feel good about yourself. Good physiques (体形) don't just happen. A healthy habit can be as simple as exercising 20 minutes to 1 hour three days a week. Working out can also lift your spirits.
Respect your body! Practicing good habits regular showering; taking care of your teeth, hair, and skin; wearing clean clothes, and so on can help you build a positive body image.
Your body is just one part of who you are. Your talent for comedy, a quick wit (智慧) and all the other things make you unique. So try not to let small imperfections take over.
A. Use this as an opportunity to discover what you're good at.
B. Be yourself.
C. Having a positive body image means feeling satisfied with the way you look.
D. Just explore talents that you feel good about.
E. They take hard work, regular workouts, and a healthy diet.
F. The good news is that self-image and body image can be changed.
G. So, what can you do to develop a positive body image?

Body image is a person's opinions and feelings about his or her own body and physical appearance.“身体形象是一个人对于他外貌的看法和感觉,以及下文”You appreciate your body for its capabilities and accept its imperfections.“你欣赏你身体的能力也接受它的缺点。所以C.”Having a positive body image means feeling satisfied with the way you look.“好的形象意味着我们对于自己的长相是很满意的,与上下文一致。
G.”So, what can you do to develop a positive body image?“你可以怎么做来发展一个好的形象,与上下文一致。
D.”Just explore talents that you feel good about.“探索你认为好的那些才能,与上下文一致,故选D。
A healthy habit can be as simple as exercising 20 minutes to 1 hour three days a week. “一个好的健康的习惯可以是一周三天锻炼二十分钟或者一个小时。所以E.” They take hard work, regular workouts, and a healthy diet.“他们需要刻苦的锻炼,有规律的工作,健康的饮食,与上下文一致。
Your body is just one part of who you are. “你的身体就是你身体的一部分。所以B.” Be yourself.“做你自己,与上下文一致。故选B。

【题目】B

They text their friends all day long. At night, they do research for their term papers on laptops and communicate with their parents on Facebook. But as they walk the paths of Hamilton College, students are still pulling around old-fashioned textbooks and loving it.

The screen wont go blank, said Faton, a sophomore. There cant be a virus. It wouldnt be the same without books. Theyve defined academia for a thousand years.

Though the world of print is receding before a tide of digital books, blogs and other websites, a generation of college students weaned on technology appears to be holding fast to traditional textbooks. That loyalty comes at a price. Textbooks are expensive, and students frustrations with the expense, as well as the emergence of new technology, have produced a lot of choices for obtaining them.

Many students are reluctant to give up the ability to flip quickly between chapters, write in the margins and highlight passages, although new software applications are beginning to allow students to use e-textbooks that way.

Students grew up learning from print books, said Nicole Allen, so as they transition to higher education, its not surprising that they carry a preference for a format that they are most accustomed to.

For now, buying books the old-fashioned way new or used prevails. If a campus store sold a new book for $100, it would typically buy the book back for $50 at semesters endand sell it to the next student for $75. When Louis Boguchwal, a junior, tried to sell a $100 linear algebra textbook back to the college bookstore, he was offered $15. It was insulting, he said. They give you next to nothing.

Rosemary Rocha, 26, she waits to borrow the few copies her professors leave on reserve at the library, or relies on the kindness of classmates. My friends will let me borrow their books in exchange for coffee or a slice of pizza, she said. I very seldom buy the textbooks, but Im always like a chicken without a head.
