Knowing that our school will need some volunteers to give British exchange students a reception on summer vacation, I want to apply for this position.

If I’m chosen as one of volunteers, I would like to warmly welcome the students who are from our British sister school. In order to make he/she happy, I have prepared some activities. First of all, I’ll invite he/she to taste Shanghai local cuisine, such as soup dumplings and spring onion pancake, which will let he/she feel the charm of Shanghai food. At the same time, I’ll take he/she to the Oriental Pearl's Tower where people can sightsee, dine, shop, entertain and lodge. In this place, he/she can have a sweeping view of the city and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Shanghai.
