  Taking pictures is fun. And taking good ones is easy if you follow a few simple rules. Before you snap a picture, think about it. Be sure you are close enough to your subject. A pretty face against a plain background, for instance, makes a good picture. But a distant figure lost among trees and clouds lacks interest.
