Dear Sir£¬
Thank you for invite me to the summer English course in your school. As for your choice between the two courses, prefer the four-week course because of this will allow me more time to do sora traveling and make a few mw friends. Of all the subject I¡¯m teaming at school, I like English best. I had been learning English for eleven years but my spoken English remains poorly, So I real hope to take this chance to improve it. If possible, I¡¯d like to slay with a family for a couple of days in order that I can knew some customs in England- what I¡¯m particularly interested in,I believe I will have wonderful time this summer.

Grace

Getting older is a natural part of life. Changes as you get older are usually gradual. Certain physical changes are common. How fast your body can burn calories slows over time, which means that your body needs less food energy than before.
How much and how well you sleep will likely change. Most people start needing reading glasses around forty, and many have some hearing loss later in life. Starting in your fifties, bone aging increase. How you feel as you get older depends on many things, including what health problems run in your family and the choices you make.
If your family members have diseases or chronic (ÂýÐÔµÄ) health problems like high blood pressure, then you may have a greater chance of having those problems yourself. But it doesn¡¯t mean you will definitely have the same problems. Actually, the lifestyle choices you make can help reduce your chances of getting illness that run in your family. And even if you do get a family illness, choosing to be physically active, to eat healthy foods, and to learn how to deal with stress can keep the illness from destroying your ability to enjoy your golden years.
What do you need to do to feel your best as you age? One of the most important things you can do for your health at any age is to be physically active. Physical activity keeps your body strong, and it helps with how you feel. People who stay active are less likely to get depressed.
Your mental and emotional health is also important. Protect or improve your emotional health by staying in touch with friends, family, and the community. People who feel connected to others are more likely to feel happy than those who do not.

Too often in life, we focus on the things we cannot do. Sometimes we cannot do things because of financial limitations, health limitations, family limitations, educational limitations, and so on. Sometimes, we end up limiting ourselves from achieving success in reaching our goals. We end up having a negative attitude which limits our ability to achieve success and happiness in our life.
Through the Internet, I have recently met an individual (¸öÈË) whom I found to be very inspiring. He has a positive attitude; he focuses on what he can do. To name a few of his accomplishments: he has set a world record, and is in the Guinness Book of World Records; he is an international poet with over 900 publications; he is an advocate (Óµ»¤Õß) for the disabled; he is the founder of Beyond Limitations Week; he is an ambassador (´óʹ) for the Harvey Ball World Smile Foundation; he has created his own website¡ªhttp://wheelierecord. Tripod. com/ index. html. And the list could go on!
The individual is Robert M£®Hensel. You see, Robert was born spina bifida, a disability that affects the sense of balance and also has an influence on the kidneys (ÉöÔà). Robert could have easily used his disability to limit his achievements, yet he has accomplished more than many. His attitude to life is one that, for me, is inspiring! To quote Robert, ¡°I have learned that limitations open doors that have been closed, showing other ways to meet our needs. Now I look beyond what I can¡¯t do and focus on what I can.¡±
Let Robert be a reminder for changing attitudes. Use his motto of not focusing on what you can¡¯t do, but focus on what you can do£¡

What if you arrived home to find it delicious hot meal waiting for you, prepared by your very own kitchen robot It might sound like science fiction. but professors at the university of Tokyo have taken the first steps toward making that scenario a reality. The team recently introduced a humanoid kichen robot that can pour and other drinks into cups and serve the m to guests. When teating is over, the robot can also wash the dishes and put them away.
In Califormia, another interesting kitchen robot has been developed, called Readybot. It can pick up objects and either srore them in cabinets (³÷¹ñ£©or put them in the trash. It also carries a separate floor-cleaning robot that can operate by itself.Unlike the Japanse robot,Readybot just looks more like a large box with arms and wheels.
Readybot was created by engineers and designers who who etablished a called the Readybot Challlenge. They believe that in the future millions of robots will be needed in homes to perform ordinary household tasks. Readybot is just the step in their plan to create a robot that can do jobs not only in kitchens but in other rooms of homes and in offces as well.
Clearly there are tcchnogical difficulties to to solve before robots can cook a Complete dinner, and there arc diso many safety concerns (ÓÇÂÇ£© .Not everyone (especially parents) would be comfortable with the idea of robots in their house, manipulating hot pans and sharp knives. The European Commission recently furtded(×ÊÖú£© a project to study these concerns. According to lead researcher Professor Chris Melhuish,¡° Enabling robots to work safely with humans is a key need for the future developmem of
robots.¡±

There are two types of people in the world.Although they have equal degree of health and wealth and other comforts of life£¬one becomes happy and the other becomes unhappy. This arises from the different ways in which they consider things£¬persons£¬events and the resulting effects upon their minds.
People who are to be happy fix their attention on the convenience of things£ºthe pleasant parts of conversation£¬the well prepared dishes£¬the goodness of the wine and the fine weather. They enjoy all the cheerful things. Those who are to be unhappy think and speak only of the opposite things. Therefore£¬they are continually dissatisfied.By their remarks£¬they sour the pleasure of society£¬hurt many people£¬and make themselves disagreeable everywhere. If this turn of mind was founded in nature£¬such unhappy persons would be the more to be pitied. The intention of criticizing and being disliked is perhaps taken up by imitation. It grows into a habit£¬unknown to its possessors. The habit may be strong£¬but it may be cured when those who have it realize its bad effects on their interests and tastes.I hope this little warning may be of service to them£¬and help them change this habit.
Although in fact it is chiefly an act of the imagination£¬it has serious results in life since it brings on deep sorrow and bad luck. Those people hurt many others; nobody loves them£¬and no one treats them with more than the most common politeness and respect. This frequently puts them in bad temper and draws them into arguments. If they aim at getting some advantages in social position or fortune£¬nobody wishes them success.Nor will anyone start a step or speak a word to favor their hopes. If they bring on themselves public objections£¬no one will defend or excuse them£¬and many will join to criticize their wrongdoings. They should change this bad habit and be pleased with what is pleasing£¬without worrying needlessly about themselves and others. If they do not£¬it will be good for others to avoid any contact with them.Otherwise£¬it can be disagreeable and sometimes very inconvenient£¬especially when one becomes mixed up in their quarrels.
