Dear fellow students,

With the popularity of cell-phones and the Internet, some of us students spend too much time play with cell-phones or computer games, which are bad for our studies. Worse still, we had little time communicate with our parents and friends. So do we have time for physical exercise.

What shall we do it to improve the situation? All of us shouldn't realize the negative effects of modern media. Let's limit your time of playing with cell-phones or computer games. Instead we should spend less time playing sports or talking with our parents and friends, who helps us relax and communicate.

That's all. Thank you!

A worker says the park is trying to keep the beauty of the park and let everyone visit. Some areas have been rounded up (ȦÆðÀ´) to keep people away and planted with seeds to try to keep them beautiful.

A former worker thinks Yosemite should get more money to take better care of the park. He would also like to teach people what the park service is trying to do.

Some people are trying to save Yosemite Valley. A plan has been made to remove some buildings. There will be fewer cars allowed inside the park. More buses will help get people around.

A survey has shown that what you do on a plane can be determined by which nationality is listed on your passport.
According to the results of an international passenger survey, Australians are the biggest drinkers on board with 36 percent choosing to down the hatch, compared to 35 percent of Americans and 33 percent of Brits.
The Airline Passenger Experience Association(APEX) spoke to around 1,500 people, aged 18 and older, who have travelled by plane at least once during the last three months and were living in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, China, Singapore, Australia and Brazil.
The results found Chinese travelers are most likely to nod off once the seat-belt sign switches off. They are also the first to take out their credit card for some in-flight shopping and the biggest fans of gaming. Americans on the other hand like to use their time in the air more productively---- when not drinking---- choosing to work while flying at 35,000 feet.
Meanwhile, Brits and Germans are the best at making chat with random strangers----spending 50 percent more time than any other nationality. Comparatively, Brazilians conduct their conversations online via email, messaging apps or social media.
Despite plane food having a bad reputation, seven out of ten interviewees said they were happy to eat up on the selection of in-flight snacks and meals. In-flight magazines were also popular with four out of five passengers.
The international flyers did however express their desire for better in-flight entertainment. ¡°The industry has greatly improved the comfort, entertainment and onboard service, and passengers are accepting those improvements¡± said Russell Lemieux, APEX executive director. ¡°At the same time, passengers are demanding more from their air travel experiences which will drive more improvements touching all aspects of the journey. ¡± he added.
£¨1£©What can you probably see in the flight according to the passage?
A.Brazilians choose to drink.
B.Americans do in-flight shopping.
C.Germans chat to kill the time.
D.The Chinese switch off the seat-belt sign.
£¨2£©When on board the plane, ______.
A.passengers from one nation have little in common
B.most passengers like to read in-flight magazines
C.more than half of the passengers don't enjoy plane food
D.most people tend to use in-flight time to have a good sleep.
£¨3£©What can we learn from the last paragraph?
A.Flyers care little about entertainment.
B.Flyers are not satisfied with the improvements.
C.Flyers are expecting better flight experiences.
D.Flyers have more and more demands from airlines.
£¨4£©What's the purpose of the passage?
A.To entertain readers with interesting stories.
B.To encourage people to behave well in public.
C.To criticize impolite behaviors on the plane.
D.To inform readers of the results of a survey.

Camping wild is a wonderful way to experience the natural world and, at its best, it makes little environmental influence. But with increasing numbers of people wanting to escape into the wilderness, it is becoming more and more important to camp unobtrusively£¨²»ÒýÈË×¢ÒâµØ£©and leave no mark.
Wild camping is not permitted in many places, particularly in crowded lowland Britain. Wherever you are, find out about organizations responsible for managing wild spaces, and contact them to find out their policy on camping and shelter building. For example, it is fine to camp wild in remote parts of Scotland, but in England you must ask the landowner's permission, except in natural parks.
Camping is about having relaxation, sleeping outdoors, experiencing bad weather, and making do without modern conveniences. A busy, fully-equipped campsite£¨Ò°ÓªµØ£©seems to go against this, so seek out smaller, more remote places with easy access to open spaces and perhaps beaches. Better still, find a campsite with no road access: walking in makes a real adventure.
Finding the right spot to camp is the first step to guaranteeing a good night's sleep. Choose a campsite with privacy and minimum£¨×îС»¯µÄ£© influence on others and the environment. Try to use an area where people have obviously camped before rather than creating a new spot. When camping in woodland, avoid standing dead trees, which may fall on a windy night. Avoid animal runs and caves, and possible homes of biting insects. Make sure you have most protection on the windward side. If you make a fire, do so downwind of your shelter. Always consider what influence you might have on the natural world. Avoid damaging plants. A good campsite is found, not made¡ªchanging it should be unnecessary.
£¨1£©You needn't ask for permission when camping in ________.
A.national parks in England
B.most parts of Scotland
C.crowded lowland Britain
D.most parts of England
£¨2£©The last paragraph mainly deals with ________.

B.building a campfire
C.camping in woodland
D.finding a campsite with privacy
£¨3£©The passage is mainly about ________.
A.the protection of campsites
B.the importance of wild camping
C.the human influence on campsites
D.the dos and don'ts of wild camping

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿As I sit at home thinking about my upcoming ad-venture and the things I need to bring, it makes me even more excited to begin my travel. I will be making my way around the world.

The first places on the list arc Andalusia and Africa in the book The Alchemist. I will need to pack a lot of stuff and make sure I have enough money to provide myself with food and enough to drink. The Sahara desert is always hot and requires plenty of water.

Next I will head to Mexico in the book Born to Run, where I will encounter the Tarahumara Indian tribe. I will need to get into shape and do some jogging if I want to keep up with them while running. I will have to pack my running shoes, though, because the Tarahumarans have mastered the art of running on the tough land.

After Mexico, my journey takes me to the Egyptian desert in the novel The Paris Vendetta. There I hope to help uncover an ancient conspiracy (񛀱) that goes back centuries. Just like my trip to Andalusia 91 will have to make sure I have plenty of water. Packing the Camelbak products seems like the best idea, so I will have water on hand at all times. I expect this adventure to be quite interesting, and I am very excited about it.

Lastly, I will make my way back to America in the book Shattered: Struck Down, But Not Destroyed. This makes me feel excited because like the main character in the book, I also wanted to become a professional athlete when I was younger. For this trip, I will go with an open mind and hopefully meet some friends along the way.

I am ready to embark on my adventure of traveling, and I cannot wait any longer!
