¡¾´ð°¸¡¿In order to reduce air pollution and heavy traffic, our city has started to carry out the new license number- plate restrictions since January1, 2018. I conducted a survey on it recently.

Many people support the traffics control restrictions. Since the plan was put into effect, there have been few vehicles on the roads and the cities have been less crowded. More importantly, the air is cleaner and fresher. However, some people feel it a little inconvenient when they can¡¯t use their private cars as usual.

I think the restrictions are quite necessary, and I strongly support them. Our government should improve the public transportation to satisfy the growing needs of people so that every one can enjoy an easy life.

Before a child starts school, his or her main role models are his or her parent or caregiver. Parents or caregivers with high self-esteem( ×Ô×ð) typically model this to the children, who will gradually pick up these ideas. Those who are influenced by negativity£¨·ñ¶¨ÐÔ£¬Ïû¼«Ì¬¶È), even if the negativity is not towards them, will often take the same way of thinking, leading to low self-esteem in childhood.

Continual praise for a child¡¯s achievements plays a large part in a child¡¯s view of himself or herself. Praising a child for acting as expected or something good often encourages him or her to repeat the same action and forms a sense of self-worth. Empty praise, however, can have the opposite£¨Ïà·´µÄ£©effect. A child who is praised for anything will stop believing the words, and the empty praise will have little effect on self-esteem in childhood or possibly a negative effect.

Providing a child with responsibilities based on his or her abilities is also important in the development of self-esteem in childhood. Making a child feel like a helpful member of a family or group, whether at home or school, helps to form a higher sense of confidence in his or her abilities. However, giving a child unfit responsibilities or tasks can do no good to the development of high self-esteem in childhood.

Each person has strengths and weaknesses. A child can build up his or her confidence level when he/she is encouraged to take part in activities ,which can provide him or her with chances to work on weaknesses(ȱµã) in a helpful environment . Children who are given the opportunities to use their unique skills to help others or improve themselves have higher self-esteem than those who are not given the same chances or who are pushed into activities that they do not enjoy or do not have an ability to do.

Growing up on a small farm, I lived a life that I took for granted. My father worked in the city as a plumber(ˮů¹¤).He was not highly educated, but he was smart, looking at problems in an engineer¡¯s way. He was a man made of leather, brass and chewing tobacco who tried to teach my brother and me useful things, including respect. He also had a temper and was strict with us for he would scold us when we made some careless mistakes. Sometimes, my father seemed like a distant enemy to me and I didn¡¯t like him very much.

One day I came home from primary school and his car was already there. Once inside, I was told by my mother that he didn¡¯t feel well. His back hurt. My father never missed work; in fact, when he came home, he went to the barn to work even more. I remember looking at him secretly around the corner as he lay on his bed in the middle of the day.

Later, my mother told me he got multiple myeloma(¶à·¢ÐÔ¹ÇËèÁö),a type of cancer. As the cancer grows, the person will shrink because the disease destroys the body¡¯s energy and the abnormal antibodies cause problems for other cells and tissue. Bones eventually look like Swiss cheese, and when they break, they may never heal. But I didn¡¯t realize that my father¡¯s time was rather limited and just treated him the same way I used to.

For the last year of my fathers life, his entire day consisted df rising from his hospital bed in the living room and walking to his chair to sit and think. He was predictably in that chair when I came home one day during the ninth grade. I do not remember where my mother and brother were, but the two of us were alone.

Paragraph 1 :

He asked me to sit down and what he told me still moves me these decades Later.

Paragraph 2 :

At that moment, I realized that he was doing more than telling.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿ Everyone fancies a bargain; if it is free, everyone loves it even more! Those who do not believe in a free lunch can now eat their words because it is possible to get things for free in Singapore without any conditions attached. Let me introduce you to some tips on where and how to gain some free presents, all without even touching your wallet.

Food

Go search for food festivals and fairs. These food sellers usually put out a lot of small samples for all to try. Famous ones include the Singapore Food Festival held annually in the month of July at various locations including the Takashimaya Square and Plaza Singapura.

Haircuts

There are well-known hair salons every month that require hair models for apprentices(ѧͽ) to exercise their skills or for their hair stylists(·¢ÐÍʦ) to experiment with new styles. Unbelievable as it might sound, most people come out of this experience satisfied and addicted to more of such deals. Free Internet

Most hotels offer free wifi. There are also many cafes in Singapore that offer free wireless surfing. However, order a coffee to avoid unfriendly stares from the staff. Popular spots include the McDonald¡¯s, Starbucks and

Cafe Galilee outlets throughout our island. Free City Tour If you are a traveler in Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board has arranged for you to enjoy a free two-hour city tour that offers you a choice to enjoy a Sentosa Island tour or a small-boat experience.

Living and traveling in Singapore is expensive, but sometimes all it takes is a closer look at all the little sheltered comers of this island to appreciate the occasional treasures that are given to those who seek.
