    I have looked back on that memory so many times over the years．If I had done it all over a-gain，I would have talked to the man，given him more money，and maybe shared a hug with him as well．

         There are，however，some words and phrases that have stood the test of time．OK．which has become the international standard for expressing agreement，is a good example．
