There are many useful things we can do each day to feel better. It may take some efforts and time to make a habit of drinking 8 glasses of water daily or thinking more positively, but it is well worth it. What things do you do every day to feel better?

Probably the healthiest thing you can do to feel better each day is to exercise early in the morning. You don¡¯t have to run the whole morning or spend a few hours in the gym. Even doing some easy exercise like walking, sit-ups or jumping the rope will help you feel better in no time!

Again, due to our busy schedules, we don¡¯t get enough sleep each night. If you have trouble falling asleep, avoid watching TV or surfing the Internet right before bed. Also, try to make healthy bedtime snack choices and don¡¯t drink tea or coffee too late in the day.

If you drink 3 glasses of water, 4 glasses of coffee or tea and a glass of soda each day and think that you drink enough water, think again. Your body needs water (not coffee or soda!) to function properly. Aiming to drink 7-8 glasses of water each day can make you feel better.

Being positive is the key to a longer life. Positive thoughts can help improve your overall health. Life is full of stressful situations and it¡¯s hard to stay cheerful when everything goes wrong, but your positive attitude can help you solve any problem and fight any stress faster and easier. Your positive attitude is especially good for your heart health. Smile, stay positive and live a longer life!

¡¾1¡¿In the author¡¯s opinion, which can benefit us most in order that we feel better?

A. Sleeping enough. B. Drinking enough water.

C. Thinking more positively. D. Taking morning exercise.

¡¾2¡¿Which of the following agrees with what is said in Paragraph 3?

A. Drinking tea or coffee makes us sleep less.

B. Drinking tea before bed makes it harder to fall asleep.

C. Watching TV or surfing the Internet leads to less sleep.

D. Our busy schedules cause more difficulty in falling asleep.

¡¾3¡¿Why is water necessary to our body?

A. Because it can make us feel better.

B. Because it can have our body work smoothly.

C. Because it can do more good to our body than coffee.

D. Because it can help avoid feeling thirsty.

¡¾4¡¿What do we need most when everything goes wrong?

A. Thinking positively. B. Thinking out wise ways.

C. Having a right attitude. D. Staying cheerful.

Maybe you¡¯re looking for love. ¡¾1¡¿ Regardless, I¡¯m here to tell you changing our opinions on love in three essential ways:

1. Instead of searching for that one special loving relationship, bring as much love as you can into all your relationships.

You may have many soul mates (ÖªÒô) in a lifetime and those relationships may not last forever. Your friendships may last longer than your marriage. And that is OK. ¡¾2¡¿ The trick is making the space available.

¡¾3¡¿

We are all artists of love, but too many people refuse to pick up a paintbrush because they¡¯re waiting to find the right picture to paint. We can only realize the potential that we all have to love if we actually do something about it.

¡¾4¡¿ Love can show up in a million different ways in a million different forms, which means we have a million choices every day to bring love into our lives, or not. My advice: choose love.

3. Try falling in love not just with people, but also with places, things and activities.

Fall in love with the bus driver transporting you safely home. Fall in love with the streetlamp that keeps your home secure at night. Fall in love with the way the morning sunlight travels through the trees. ¡¾5¡¿

Your existence is such an unbelievably fantastic event in life that the best and only real option is to become the most tender-hearted, loving and kind individual you can possibly be.

A. Fall in love with your passions.

B. Maybe you¡¯re unsure what love is.

C. Love expands to fill the space available.

D. Maybe you wonder how and where to find it.

E. Instead of seeing love as a force that is out of your control, see it as an art and a practice.

F. We experience love as kindness, giving, forgiveness, compassion, peace, joy and acceptance.

G. Instead of regarding love a must that is beyond you, consider it as a chance that calls on you.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Looking back on my younger days , I find ¡¾1¡¿ rather ironic£¨·í´ÌµÄ£©how much of my life I spent listening to Pink Floyd , whose famous song Time is specifically about not sitting around and ¡¾2¡¿ ( let ) life pass you by .

But , like many high school and college students , I ¡¾3¡¿ (waste) a lot of my time in the short-and long-term . I slept late on Saturdays and lost hours hanging out with friends .

In the long-term , I also had no idea about what ¡¾4¡¿ (achieve) were supposed to be made , so I drifted through the easiest college courses , never really pushing myself to do better . It wasn¡¯t until I was around 25 ¡¾5¡¿ I realized I¡¯d missed a large amount of my life ¡¾6¡¿ absolutely no reason .

What I realized is that nothing just ¡¾7¡¿ (simple) comes along . Life is what you make of it . If you¡¯re unhappy with something in your life , there is nothing stopping you from making moves ¡¾8¡¿ (change) it .

If I were able to go back in time and visit my ¡¾9¡¿ (young) self , first I would get the beer can out of his hand and tell him to read more . Then , I would tell him to , as the famous ¡¾10¡¿ (say) from Andy Dufresne in Shawshank Redemption goes , ¡° get busy living , or get busy dying . ¡±

Tips for cooking on a tight schedule

From my experience, there are three main reasons why people don't cook more often: ability, money, and time. Ability is easily improved.__ ¡¾1¡¿__. So today I want to give you some wisdom about how to make the most of the time you spend in the kitchen. Here are three tips for great cooking on a tight schedule£º

1. Think ahead. The moments when I think cooking is a pain are when I'm already hungry and there's nothing ready to eat. _¡¾2¡¿__When will you have time to cook? Do you have the right materials already? A little time planning ahead can save a lot of work later on.

2. Make your time worth it. When you do find time to cook a meal, make the most of it and save yourself time later on. Are you making one loaf of bread? __¡¾3¡¿_ Make three or four instead. It takes around the same amount of time to make more of something. So save yourself the effort for a future meal.

3. _¡¾4¡¿__ This may surprise you, but one of the best tools for making cooking worth your time is experimentation. It gives you the chance to hit upon new ideas and recipes that can work well with your appetite and schedule. The more you learn and the more you try, the more ability you have to take control of your food and your schedule.

_¡¾5¡¿__ Let cooking and living simply be a joy rather than a burden. And don't let a busy schedule discourage you from making some great changes in the way you eat and live!

A. Try new things.

B. Understand your food better.

C. Are you making one loaf of bread?

D. So think ahead of the coming week.

E. Cooking is a burden for many people.

F. Money is a topic I'll save for another day.

G. I do hope that gives you a good cooking start.

Visitors to Britain may find the best place¡¾1¡¿enjoy local culture is in a traditional pub. But newcomers may get into trouble in these friendly pubs. Strangers may start with the difficulty of getting a drink. Most pubs have no waiters¡ªyou have to go to the bar (°Ę́) to buy drinks . This may sound¡¾2¡¿(convenient), but English people are used to doing so.

Pub culture is formed¡¾3¡¿(help) people get along with each other. Standing at the bar for service allows you to chat with others¡¾4¡¿(wait) for drinks. The bar counter is¡¾5¡¿(possible) the only place in Britain ¡¾6¡¿a friendly conversation with strangers¡¾7¡¿(consider) to be entirely proper and really quite normal behavior. ¡¾8¡¿, if you do not follow the local rules, you may fail to feel the local culture. For example, if you are in a big group, ¡¾9¡¿is best for one or two people to go to buy the drinks. Nothing makes the regular customers and bar staff ¡¾10¡¿ (angry) than a group of strangers standing in front of the bar while they chat and wonder what to order.
