The principles about applying for jobs have altered greatly lately. In the past, people preferred a hand?written application letter. However, nowadays it is becoming more and more common to apply for a job through the Internet. You can find information on the Internet about how to apply for jobs. Information can be found about how to fulfill your application letter, the clothes that you should wear and how to carry out the interview itself.
The importance of body language is often mentioned, but doesn't always get the attention it deserves. After all, before a word has even been spoken, your body language will have already given people their first impression of you. Additionally, your body language will also give out a lot more information. Based on your body language it can be seen if you are self?confident. It can also show if you are a busy or a quiet type and it helps give an impression of whether you are speaking truthfully or not. Body language can show how enthusiastic you are and if you are a nice person, someone who will take his work seriously, but also someone who has a sense of humor and can enjoy a joke from time to time. The members of the application committee will ask you questions, but your answers won't only be oral. The committee will not only pay attention to what you say, but also to how you say it! Body language will determine first if it ¡°clicks¡±£¬ and sometimes all it takes is just a few seconds. Everybody uses body language, but it takes place mostly at a subconscious (ÏÂÒâʶµÄ) level. Using body language appropriately, you can definitely increase your chances of getting a job.

Who decided that blue jeans and T-shirts are ¡°cool¡± for kids to wear today? Who designs the clothes you see for sale in stores? All of these questions concern the world of fashion.
Fashion refers to the styles of dress that are currently popular. Fashion goes beyond just clothes, though. It¡¯s important for some people to wear only the latest fashions and styles. For others, though, keeping up with trends isn¡¯t that important. The one thing that stays the same with fashion is this: it always changes!
In the 1960s and 1970s, hippies made bell-bottomed blue jeans popular. In the 1980s, Michael Jackson made parachute pants (½µÂäÉ¡¿ã) all the fashion. Now try to find these items in today¡¯s clothing stores!
Why do fashions change? The answer is probably as simple as the fact that people change. Over time, the new replaces the old. People are influenced greatly by popular culture, including athletes, musicians, movie stars, as well as popular films, television shows, books and music. We are also influenced by the fashion industry¡¯s advertising.
The stars of popular culture are always searching for a new angle to maintain (±£³Ö) their popularity. Often these new angles come in the form of new clothing or hairstyles. When people see these new styles, they often want to imitate their favorite stars. To do so, they seek out the latest fashions to make themselves look like the people they want to imitate. In this way, fashions evolve and change over time.
For years, clothes have been used to separate people into groups. Even today, brand-name clothing that is more expensive than other types of clothing can be used by some people to distinguish themselves from others.
Unfortunately, this can often have the effect of distancing certain groups from others. Don¡¯t forget that it¡¯s always OK to develop your own sense of style that is unique and separate from what the fashion world determines! Stay true to yourself and let your personality ¡ª not your clothes ¡ª speak for who you are!

A. fashion is all about clothes
B. the author has gone out of fashion
C. clothes may separate and distance people
D. people like imitating others¡¯ dressing style

A telescope (ÍûÔ¶¾µ), called Gaia, is being designed by astronomers in Europe, and it couldn¡¯t be more different from Pan-STARRS, which is another telescope being designed. While Pan-STARRS will be looking for asteroids (СÐÐÐÇ) and comets headed for Earth, Gaia will be looking at our entire galaxy (ÒøºÓϵ).
Gaia is designed to draw a map of the Milky Way, our home galaxy. Just as a map of your town gives you a picture of where things are located, Gaia¡¯s map of the galaxy will tell astronomers where the stars are. Over five years, Gaia will observe (¹Û²ì) about a billion stars and other objects in our galaxy. Each object will be observed about 70 times.
Gaia will be sent into space connected to a rocket. It contains two telescopes, each focused at a different angle (½Ç¶È). These two telescopes act like Gaia¡¯s ¡°eyes¡±. The reason why humans can see things in 3D is that we have two eyes focused on the same object, at slightly different angles. By using two telescopes like eyes, Gaia can produce the first 3D map of the positions of the stars it views.
Gaia, which is to be sent into space in 2011, will be a powerful telescope. If you were to use it on Earth, for example, you could stand 600 miles away from your best friends and still get a clear picture of their hair.
Gaia is one of more than a dozen telescopes being designed by scientists right now. The next generation of telescopes will reveal new parts of our universe that will seem surprising. The universe, with all its planets, stars and other strange objects, is a puzzle with pieces that we can see by using powerful telescopes.
1.How many different angles can Gaia focus at each time?
A. 2 . B. 3. C. 4 . D. 5.
2.The map to be drawn by Gaia ______.
A. can show every building on Earth
B. can show you where your town is
C. will just show the stars around Earth
D. will show where the stars are in our home galaxy
3.What¡¯s Paragraph 4 mainly about?
A. What Gaia will do in space.
B. When Gaia will start to work.
C. How powerful Gaia will be.
D. What Gaia will do to Earth.
4.The underlined sentence in the last paragraph suggests that the next generation of telescopes _______.
A. seem very surprising to scientists
B. will not be put into use in a short time
C. will just look at new things in universe
D. will be more powerful than the old generations

Nowadays more and more people who lives in cities like to keep dogs as pets. Some of my friend believe people can get comfort and develop their patient and love by keeping dogs as pets. Personally, I do not really have interest to dogs, and sometimes I do hate some dog owners. They can be so annoyed. They talk about their dogs as if they are actually their little babies. Some dogs make too much noise at night, that makes it hard for people living nearby fall asleep. Besides, not all dog owners think of others while they are walking their dogs. As really annoys me, though, is the way they let their dogs get out of the control.
