Immoral Behavior in Public
To witness immoral behavior in public, one need only to visit ________....

One possible version:
Immoral Behavior in Public
To witness immoral behavior in public, one need only to visit the subway. I still remember the first time I took the subway. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school. When I was trying to get a ticket, I found a lot of people waiting in front of me, but few were in the line.
Immoral behaviors in public cause a series of problems. One is that it may have a negative effect on our sense of social responsibility. We will keep ignoring other people¡¯s rights and feelings, and in turn, we will be disrespected some day too.
The improvement of this phenomenon is certainly not easy. I propose that society make it clear that people who fail to respect the common good will be seriously punished. And stricter policies should be made to correct it as soon as possible.

Hi, I am Mike. I just went through my first year of college. The toughest part on me at first was the general adjustment. I went to a very small high school where my mom was a teacher and she did practically everything for me. But at the college I needed to know some basic life skills, such as balancing a check-book, laundry, and the things you have to be able to handle that I never thought of in the high school! It was really tough for me at first and I got badly homesick.
Once that first semester was over and I got used to the college life, I loved it ¡ª good facilities, helpful instructors, and a good library. The Students¡¯ Union organizes various parties every week. I also go to cinemas and concerts, and often spend Saturday nights in pubs and clubs.
One thing I think is important is to get yourself active in things. I was on the dance team in college and met a ton of people that way ¡¤¡¤¡¤ it was so much easier to make friends when you had a common ground.

For many years, scientists have warned that smoking tobacco is bad for health. Yet people around the world continue to smoke. The World Health Organization estimates that more than four million people die each year from the effects of smoking. That number is increasing.
Scientists have identified more than forty chemicals in tobacco smoke that cause cancer in humans and animals. Nicotine (Äá¹Å¶¡) is the major poison in cigarettes that gives pleasure to smokers. The American Cancer Society says nicotine can kill a person when taken in large amounts. It does this by stopping the muscles used for breathing. Also, studies have found that nicotine can be as harmful as alcohol or the illegal drugs. So experts say it is better never to start smoking and become dependent on nicotine than it is to smoke with the idea of stopping later.
Smoking tobacco is the leading cause of lung disease. Smoking also has been linked to heart disease, stroke and many kinds of cancer. American government health experts say smoking affects not only the smoker. Tobacco smoke also affects the health of people who do not smoke. Smokers may harm the health of family members and people at work. Tobacco smoke causes an estimated 3,000 non-smoking Americans to die of lung cancer each year.
Therefore, it can be seen that smoking begins to cause damage immediately. All cigarettes can damage the body. And there is no safe way to smoke.

Halloween is very popular in western countries. On October 31st, dozens of children dressed in costumes£¨½ÚÈÕ·þ×°£©knock on their neighbors' doors and yell "Trick or Treat" when the door opens. Pirates and princesses, ghosts and popular heroes of the day all hold bags open to catch the candy or other goodies that the neighbors drop in. As they give each child a treat the neighbors exclaim over the costumes and try to guess who is under the masks.
Today school dances and neighborhood parties called "block parties" are popular among the young and the old. More and more adults celebrate Halloween. They dress up like historical or political figures and go to masquerade parties£¨»¯×±Îè»á). In larger cities, costumed children and their parents gather at shopping malls early in the evening. Stores and businesses give parties with games and treats for the children. Teenagers enjoy costume dances at their schools and the more outrageous the costume the better!
Certain pranks£¨¶ñ×÷¾ç£©such as soaping car windows and tipping over garbage cans are expected. But partying and pranks are not the only things that Halloweeners enjoy doing. Some collect money to buy food and medicine for needy children around the world.
