This morning, Zhang Lei, a Young Pioneer of our school, was on her way to school. When standing at the street corner to cross the street, she saw a blind man crossing the street. Just then a truck was speeding along. The truck was going to hit him. Without thinking about her own safety, she rushed out and pulled him back. The blind man was out of danger. Then she led him to the other side of the street. It was already 8:30. She hurried to school out of breath. She told the teacher what had happened on the way. The teacher praised her.
