Learn how to be organized
Clean your room.
Start with making your bed. Then pick up the mess on your floor and later clean any extra table that is not neat. ¡¾1¡¿ This will help a lot when you are trying to find something.
If you have time, sort out your wardrobe and drawers. ¡¾2¡¿ Ask your parents to take any reusable items to your local charity shop. Removing these items can give you more room.
Buy all the school supplies you need.
Better more than less. Make a list of all the essentials that you will need for school. ¡¾3¡¿ Also, buy scissors and glue sticks to stick things into your school books, to keep them organised.
¡¾4¡¿
Like planners, a calendar£¨ÈÕÀú£©, etc. These will help you be more organized wherever you are!
Buy the right backpack.
Backpacks are a must. But you should make sure it is big enough to fit in all your supplies. It should also have lots of pockets to keep everything well-organised. Make sure it is strong so that it will last a few years. ¡¾5¡¿
A. Buy whatever you think is useful.
B. Put everything back in its right place.
C. Buy things that will help you to be more organized.
D. This should include pencils, highlighters, colored pens.
E. Sometimes, it is okay to spend quite a bit of money on it.
F. A messy room might prove you are not good at organizing.
G. Remove clothes that no longer fit and items you no

Love, success, happiness, family and freedom¡ªhow important are these values to you? Here is one interview which explores the fundamental(»ù±¾µÄ) questions in life.
Q: Could you introduce yourself first?
A: My name is Misbah, 27 years old. I was born in a war-torn(Õ½Õù»ÙµôµÄ) area. Right now I'm a web designer.
Q: What are your great memories?
A: My parents used to take me to hunt birds, climb trees, and play in the fields. For me it was like a holiday, because we were going to have fun all day long. Those are my great memories.
Q: Does your childhood mean a lot to you?
A: Yes. As life was very hard, I used to work to help bring money in for the family. I spent my childhood working, with responsibilities beyond my age. However, it taught me to deal with problems all alone. I learnt to be independent.
Q: What changes would you like to make in your life?
A: If I could change something in my life, I'd change it so that my childhood could have taken place in another area. I would have loved to live with my family in freedom. Who cares whether we have much money, or whether we have a beautiful house? It doesn't matter as long as I can live with my family and we are safe.
Q: How do you get along with your parents?
A: My parents supported me until I came of age. I want to give back what I've got. That's our way. But I am working in another city. My only contact with my parents now is through the phone, but I hate using it. It filters(¹ýÂË) out your emotion and leaves your voice only. My deepest feelings should be passed through sight, hearing and touch.

Singles' Day falls on every November 11th. No one is quite sure exactly who first thought it up, and the most widely-accepted story is that it emerged from the dorms of Nanjing University in 1993 when four single male students got together to discuss how to break free of the loneliness of single life. One suggested that because of the ones in the date, November 11 would be a good day to organize activities for singles.
Singles' Day, started by a small group of friends, gradually grew into something like the anti-Valentine's Day, a day China's single young people could use as an excuse to get together and have fun together.
Originally about being with friends and having fun, now Singles' Day is about shopping ¡ª mostly online shopping. How did this happen? It's a long story, but the short answer is Alibaba.
By the late 2000s, most of China's Internet users were familiar with Singles' Day. There might have been some small shops online and offline offering sales on that day earlier, but no major company until Alibaba launched its first Singles' Day online sale in 2009.
In that first year, Alibaba was the only major ecommerce company to offer a sale, and it featured just 27 brands offering discounts via its T-mall marketplace. The sale was definitely successful, but it wasn't enough to redefine the holiday on its own.
In the following year, Alibaba went bigger, offering more brands and deeper discounts. But other companies had noticed the potential of the 2009 sales bonanza and decided to follow suit. E-commerce platforms like JD had their first major Singles' Day sales in 2010, and overnight Singles' Day went from a T-mall sale to something that was beginning to look like Cyber Monday in some western countries.
Over the next few years, Alibaba, JD, and other Chinese e-commerce players all expanded their one-day discounts, and sales grew exponentially£¨ÒÔÖ¸Êý·½Ê½£©. On Singles' Day in 2012, Alibaba's marketplaces, Taobao and T-mall, did about $3 billion in sales. In 2013 that number nearly doubled, and Chinese shoppers had obliterated America's Cyber Monday spending records in just the first few hours of the sale. And it's only getting bigger.

B.other Chinese e-commerce company like JD followed Cyber Monday
C.Alibaba offered more brands and deeper discounts to make it bigger

This event was started by Jennifer Barlow of Midlothian, Virginia in 2003, and it is becoming more popular each year. It has been supported by the International DarkSky Association, the American Astronomical Society, and the Astronomical League.
This event always occurs in April, during the week of the new moon so that the sky can be as dark as possible for the best viewing conditions.
¡°It is my wish that people could see the night sky without other light in the sky as our ancestors saw it hundreds of years ago,¡± explains Barlow.
Since it only lasts a week and not everyone in the country will take part in it, how will the National DarkSky Week reduce light pollution? The main goal of NDSW is to increase awareness of the harmful effects of light pollution. It is not possible for all of the light pollution in this part of the world to disappear. However, it is possible to make a small difference in the quality of the night sky. Another goal of this event is to promote the use of better lighting systems that direct light toward the ground instead of up into the sky.
Jennifer Barlow states, ¡°The night sky is a gift of such beauty that it should not be polluted by wasted light. In this way, our children will not lose touch with the wonder of our universe.¡±

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Elephants in Uganda are starting to come close to villages near national parks. The big animals are a real danger to people.
So, the Uganda Wildlife Authority has been giving people new tools to keep the elephants away: vuvuzelas. They are plastic instruments some fans use at sports events.
The instruments make a loud sound elephants do not like. The animals leave, and no one is harmed. A spokesperson for the Uganda Wildlife Authority says vuvuzelas work because they do not threaten the elephants. That is important because an elephant that feels threatened is more likely to attack. So far, no one has reported an elephant attacking in answer to a vuvuzela.
Officials and villagers have tried other ways to stop elephants from coming near farms and houses. They have built beehives ¨C houses for flying insects that sting. They have hung ropes covered in spicy oil. They have dug long, deep holes. And they have used guns, called A-K47s.
An official from the Uganda Wildlife Authority explains that people shoot the gun in the air to scare the elephant. But over time, the elephants have stopped being afraid of the sound of the gun. They only look at the shooter and wave their ears.
Another official for the Uganda Wildlife Authority, Gessa Simblicious, says one elephant-prevention solution will not work everywhere in Uganda. And one day, elephants may accept the vuvuzela noise, just as they do the sound of the A-K47.
But right now, vuvuzelas are an effective, non-violent and fun way to deal with a serious problem.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Cleaning your plate may not help feed hungry children today, but the timeworn advice of mothers everywhere may help reduce food waste from the farm to the fork, help the environment and make it easier to feed the world¡¯s growing population.
Hard data still being collected, but experts in Chicago said about 30% to 50% of the food produced in the world goes uneaten. The average American throws away 33 pounds of food each month¡ªabout $40 worth, which means each person throws away almost 400 pounds of food. The US Department of Agriculture says that 23% of eggs and an even higher percentage of produce ends up in the trash.
¡°We forget we have all these fresh fruits and vegetables, and at the end of the week we have to throw them away¡±, said Esther Gove, a mother of three young children in South Berwick, Maine. ¡°Now, I don¡¯t buy as much fresh produce as I used to.¡±
But the effect of food waste arrives far beyond the kitchen. Agriculture is the world¡¯s largest user of water, a big consumer of energy and major emitter of greenhouse gases during production. Experts say reducing waste is a simple way to cut stress on the environment and can ease pressure on farmers, who will be called on to feed an expected 9 billion people around the world in 2050, compared with nearly 7 billion today.
No matter how sustainable (¿É³ÖÐøµÄ) farming is, if the food¡¯s not getting eaten, it¡¯s not sustainable and it¡¯s not a good use of our resources. In richer nations, fruit and vegetables end up in the trash because they aren¡¯t pretty enough to meet companies¡¯ standards, have gone bad in a home refrigerator or aren¡¯t eaten at a restaurant. In developing countries, much food spoils before it gets to market due to poor roads and lack of refrigeration. High food prices are another reason, since some people can¡¯t afford the food that¡¯s produced.
¡¾1¡¿From the first paragraph, we know that cleaning your plate ________.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿Thanks to a successful crowd-funding campaign, Dion Leonard, an extreme marathon runner is adopting a stray pup(Á÷À˹·) he met while running a 155-mile race in the Gobi desert in China. The funds(»ù½ð) that were raised will help cover medical expenses so that the dog can be transported from China to Leonard's home of Edinburgh, Scotland.
The female dog, who Leonard appropriately named Gobi, joined Leonard on the second day of the annual 4 Deserts Race Series and ran side-by-side with him for 77 miles. Leonard noticed Gobi running with 101 runners during the first day, but on the second day, Gobi was on the start line, looking up at him. "This was the first contact I had with her and as I ran off the line I noticed her by my side," he said. "I didn't speak much to her that day, but at the finish line she followed me into the tent and we slept next to each other. That was it then."
Leonard shared his sleeping space, water and food with his small companion during the race. He even lent her a hand when needed. "I carried her across rivers that she could not cross on her own," he wrote on his Crowdfunder page.
After the race, it was clear to Leonard that he had developed a special bond with the pup and started researching ways to get Gobi to the UK. He learned that it would take four months for Gobi to be medically checked and cleared for entry, all of which will cost $6,560 USD, an amount that has been surpassed(³¬¹ý) due to a successful Crowdfunder campaign that raised $13,330 USD.
