Maths, Physics and Chemistry, popular majors in the late 1980s, were replaced by subjects concerning finance and trade ten years later. Around 2000, computer science sprang up. The popularity of majors clearly reflects what our society needs most at different times. Economic focus determines the industry structure and in turn, influences a students choice of majors On top of that, students choice of majors represents their preference with regard to well-paid jobs in society, which in part explains why occupations related to technological innovation enjoy huge popularity recently.
Personally, Automation Engineering is my favorite .The gradual replacement of manual work will become an inevitable trend. Thus, researchers and scholars in this field will be badly needed .In addition, to be an engineer was my interest from childhood. After years of study, my enthusiasm for it has never ended and it has now become my dream career.(154 words)

“I keep cheques worth thousands of rupees (卢比) for the Charkha Sangh,” Jamnalal Bajaj said laughingly, “yet you won’t trust me with a copper coin.” “This copper coin is worth much more than those thousands,” Mahatma Gandhi said. “If a man has one hundred thousand rupees and he gives away a thousand or two, it doesn’t mean much.” “But this coin was perhaps all that the poor lady possessed. She gave me all she had. That was very generous of her. What a great sacrifice she made. That is why I value this copper coin more than ten millions of rupees.”

I’d like tell you something about your life in this boarding school. I stay in a dormitory with three other girls，all of whom are kind and nice. We get on well to others and have become good friends. Living in a boarding school make me independent. I am confidence to take care of myself, wash the clothes, and clean the rooms, which I never did when at home. The classes here are very interesting and challenged. I’m still feeling a little dissatisfied with some other thing. Now bike-sharing is becoming increasing popular. It is green means of transportation and provides a user-friendly experience. Besides, problems also arise. The bicycles are left almost in everywhere on the street. Also, many people ride the bicycles on the driveway, cause many traffic accidents. My suggestions on how to improve the situation were as follows.
First of all, the city government should design certain areas for parking the bicycle. In this way, fewer people will leave the bicycles like they please. Secondly, more roads for bicycles needs to be built to make sure that cyclists aren’t caught in a traffic jam.
I hope this bike-sharing project will help build better traffic or improve the air quality.
