    Nowadays, some parents like to reward their child with certain amount of money if he/she gets a good grade or wins a contest. For example, if a child scores over 90 in any subject, or wins a contest, he/she may be rewarded from 100 to 2000Yuan.
    This is quite common now and does stimulate some students to work hard and achieve success. Furthermore, it is welcome by many young people.
    However, this is not the only way to study successfully. As I remember, my parents told me some stories about some ancient scholars, encouraging me to learn from them. Whenever I made progress, they would praise me generously. When I met with difficulties, they would listen to me carefully and gave me suggestion.
    I think it’s very important to be self-motivated. It’s a must for one to form a good habit of studying, too. These may help students to learn happily.
