I also get stressed and upset, yelling at my kids sometimes, and sometimes I am not as loving or as sympathetic as I should be. In fact, I am far from perfect, but I hope my children will eventually realize that perfection is an illusion. Eastbourne Centre is situated directly on the seafront and only a few minutes walk away from the main town centre, with its theatres, museums, art galleries, nightclubs, cafes, restaurants and good selection of indoor and outdoor shopping. The aim of International Summer School is to create a lively and happy atmosphere that makes learning and international communication enjoyable. So Goldberger had himself injected (注射) with blood from a person with pellagra. He also took liquid from the nose and throat of a pellagra patient and put them into his own nose and throat. He even swallowed pills that contained skin from pellagra patients. An assistant also took part in the experiments. So did Goldberger’s wife. None of them got sick.
Joseph Goldberger died of cancer in 1929. He was fiftyfive years old. Several years later, researchers discovered the exact cause of pellagra: a lack of vitamin B3 known as niacin.

In my life I have met many people who really worth recalling. But perhaps the most unforgettable person is my Chinese teacher. He gave us the best gift the teacher can offer: a passion for learning. He not only taught me to appreciate the beauty of Chinese literature, but also arouse our interest in exploring something deeper. Beside, I was attracted by his lively teach style. We were always longing for his class with great eager because his lectures were humorously delivered.
