The annual translation competition on Chinese poetry is going to be held online from June 28 to 30 by our school’s English Club. Any student who would like to participate needs to email the translation to tranlslation-2020@yahoo.com, and attach a no-longer-than-3-minute video of performing the translation in a specially designed scene related to the poem. Then based on ten professional judges’ decision，there will be a first-prize winner, two second-prize and five third-prize. The awards are more than wonderful and appealing，such as Kindles and gift cards of Xinhua Bookstore.

All of you, including the overseas students, are welcome to join in the activity. Not only can the experience help you to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history, but it also gives you an opportunity to show how well you master both Chinese and English.
