    Restaurants have been around in some form for most of human civilization. As far back as ancient Greece and Rome, there was a trend that inns and taverns(客栈) generally served food to people who had a reason to be away from home. 1. Malone spent most of his career with the Utah Jazz, gaining a reputation as one of the best power forwards of all time. He also won two Olympic gold medals, as part of the U.S. “Dream Team” in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain and in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

    “The Iceman”

    George Gervin made the most difficult shots look easy. He was also famous for keeping his cool in every game, playing in a relaxed way under pressure. Gervin, who played most of his 14 years in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, was unequalled in many ways as a shooting guard.

    Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford, England on 8th January, 1942. He went to school in St. Albans—a small city near London. Although he did well，he was never top of his class. As he later wrote, “Before my illness had been diagnosed（诊断），there had not seemed to be anything worth doing. But shortly after I came out of hospital. I suddenly realized that there were a lot of worthwhile things I could do.” Hawking married, found a job at Cambridge University, where he still works today, and had three children. He also went to do some of the most important scientific research ever carried out.

    His story shows that nobody, however bad their situation is, should lose hope. “Life is not fair,” he once said, “ You just have to do the best you can in your own situation.”
