Last week I went to visit to my former neighbor, Mr. Yang. He and I used to living next to each other for many years. About half a year ago, an order came which our old buildings, as well as many other similar ones, should be going to be pulled away to make room for a main street. So they had to move apart. Mr. Yang now lives in the suburbs near a beautiful park. His apartment is much big than before. The only problem is that it took quite a long time to get to the downtown area. Thus, Mr. Yang doesn't seem to worry about the long distance. He says that new subway line will be built in a few year and he is sure life will be better in the future.

②living改为live考查 固定搭配。动词短语used to do sth过去常常做某事；used to后面接动词原形。

③which改为that 考查名词性从句。本句是一个同位语从句。连接词that引导同位语从句解释名词order的内容，在句中不充当任何成功。

④away改为down考查固定搭配。动词短语pull down拆毁；句意：我们的老房子和其他很多类似的房子都要被拆毁。

⑤thay改为we 考查代词。本句中we指代“我们”，因为房子被拆掉了，所以我们不得不分开。
