Liwen is a sixteen-year-old girl in middle school. One day in the summer vacation, she was staying at home alone, reviewing her lessons, when she heard a knock at the door. She saw through the safety door a young man standing outside. The man said he was from the gas company and had come to check the gas fitting. Li Wen asked him to show his I.D．card, but he couldn’t. She ordered him to leave immediately. The man got angry and frightened her with a knife, insisted on her opening the door. Li Wen said nothing more but turned to the telephone, saying that she would call the police. Hearing this, the man ran away in a hurry.
