I'm good at English and Chinese culture. On the one hand, I have no difficulty in communicating. On the other hand, it's a good chance to help other foreign students know more about China. In addition, I can handle my daily life quite well and I'm able to live independently.

【题目】阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项中,选出最佳选项。
B
A new word duang is taking the Internet by storm in China - but no one knows quite what it means. The character “duang” is so new that it does not even exist in the Chinese dictionary. But it has already spread like wildfire online in China, appearing more than 8 million times on China's micro-blogging site Weibo, where it drew 312,000 discussions among 15,000 users. On China's biggest online search engine Baidu, it has been looked up almost 600,000 times. It's been noticed in the West too, with Foreign Policy seeing it as a “break the Internet” viral meme - like a certain Kim Kardashian image, or a certain multicoloured dress.
But what does it mean? “Everyone's duang-ing and I still don't know what it means! Looks like it's back to school for me,” said Weibo user Weileiweito. Another user asked: “Have you duanged today? My mind is full of duang duang duang.” “To duang or not to duang, that is the question,” wrote user BaiKut automan.
“Duang” seems to be an example of onomatopoeia, a word that phonetically imitates a sound. It all seems to have started with Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan, who in 2004 was featured in a shampoo advertisement where he said famously defended his smooth, black hair using the rhythmical-sounding “duang”. The word resurfaced again recently after Chan posted it on his Weibo page. Thousands of users then began to flood Chan's Weibo page with comments, making the word in reference to his infamous shampoo appearance.
The word appears to have many different meanings, and there's no perfect translation, but you could use it as an adjective to give emphasis to the word that follows it. A cat might be “duang cute”, for example. Or you might be “very duang confused” by this blog. For readers of Chinese characters, the Jackie Chan theme is also apparent from the strange way in which the word is written: a combination of Chan's names written in Chinese.
(1)What's the best title of the passage?
A.Millions share new Chinese character.
B.There are many great storms in China.
C.The Internet has made out new words.
D.Many try to find ways to stop wildfire.
(2)What is discussed in the second paragraph?

A.create an important word
B.see his Weibo Page flooded
C.praise a kind of shampoo
D.play a Hong Kong action film
(4)When duang is used as an adjective, it can be used to _____.
A.emphasize the word after it
B.make other people confused
C.combine the users' names
D.open China's micro-blogging

Loneliness is like a disease, and what's worse, it's contagious. It can spread from one person to another, according to the recent research that stresses the power of one person's emotions to affect even people he doesn't know.
The new analysis, involving 4,793 people who were interviewed every two years between 2005 and 2015, showed that a friend of a lonely person was 52% more likely to develop feelings of loneliness by the time of the next interview. A friend of that person was 25% more likely, and a friend of a friend of a friend was 15% more likely.
“Loneliness is not just the property of an individual. It can be transmitted across people—even people you don't have direct contact with,” said John T. Cacioppo, a psychologist of the University of Chicago who led the study published in the December issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
Loneliness has been linked to medical problems, including depression, sleep problems and generally poorer physical health. Identifying some of the causes could help reduce the emotion and improve health, experts said.
Although the study did not examine how loneliness spreads, Cacioppo said another research has provided clues. “Let's say for whatever reason you get lonely. You then interact with other people in a more negative fashion. That puts them in a negative mood and makes them more likely to interact with other people in a negative fashion and they minimize their social ties and become lonely,” Cacioppo said.
According to Cacioppo, loneliness spread more easily among women than men, perhaps because women were more likely to express emotions.
Lonely people become less and less trusting others. This makes it more and more difficult for them to make friends-and more likely that society will reject them. Therefore, it is important to recognize and deal with loneliness.Cacioppo emphasizes people who have been pushed to the edges of society should receive help to repair their social networks.
(1)It can be concluded from the first paragraph that ______.
A.Loneliness is actually a kind of disease
B.More and more people are suffering from loneliness
C.Loneliness spreads in social networks
D.Emotions are only transmitted between friends
(2)According to Cacioppo, lonely people________.
A.will probably be deserted by society
B.are more likely to trust others
C.are less likely to be rejected by friends
D.rely heavily on others
(3)The word “minimize” in Paragraph 5 is closest in meaning to “________”.
A.increase
B.keep
C.create
D.reduce
(4)Which should lonely people do to get rid of loneliness?
A.Refuse the help given by others.
B.Admit and try to solve it.
C.Interact with others more negatively.
D.Express emotions more often.

Around four years ago, I received a call from the principal of our school as to the “Parents View” talk the next morning. He asked me to speak to the group. After the call, my whole body became feverish and panicky. The time from his call to the next morning seemed like years. The whole night, I could not sleep with many ominous_apprehensions in mind. One of them was to call the principal with regret and tell him that I could not come. Finally, I gathered some courage. After delivering it successfully, I became more confident. I said to myself,“If I can speak in front of such a learned audience, like the principal who educates others, I can now speak in front of others too.”
I started delivering lectures on various topics like Self Motivation, Personality Development, Personal Excellence, Spoken English and Presentation Skills. This has become a passion for me. I have learned that everything is possible if we have the courage to take the first step.

【题目】The Chinese are more likely to shop online than consumers from any other country, according to the latest survey by the International Post Corporation, a Brussels-headquartered association on postal services.

In the second annual study of 24,000 respondents in 26 markets across North America, the Asia-Pacific and Europe, the IPC found that 36 percent of Chinese buy from digital sites at least once a week, a frequency far outstripping peer buyers.

China is also the most popular market for consumers around the world to shop from, accounting for 26 percent of most recent cross-border purchases, followed by the United States with 16 percent, Germany’s 15 percent and the United Kingdom’s 15 percent.

Purchases from China are more popular with younger people and women, while purchases from Germany receive warmer welcome by men and the elderly, the international study found.

Online marketplaces such as Amazon.com Inc, eBay Inc and Alibaba Group Holdings Ltd were the most sought-after avenues for buyers from almost all countries, accounting for around two-thirds of all cross-border purchases, the study said.

The survey also indicated that clear information about delivery charges, free returns and free delivery over a particular value, were the most important drivers for cross-border online shoppers.

It found that consumers were more likely to pay a premium for tracking rather than for speed of delivery. They preferred to pay for delivery of a tracked item that took five to eight days for delivery than an untracked item that took three to four days.

About 70 percent of cross-border online shoppers were offered tracking and 88 percent used it, mostly in the interim stage, to check on delivery progress.

Almost three-quarters of shoppers used the post for their most recent cross-border purchases. Overall, 87 percent were satisfied with their delivery experience. Only 6 percent returned their cross-border purchase, mostly using the post for the return.

The survey also looked at consumer delivery experiences, finding that most cross-border purchases had free shipping.

【1】Which of the following statements is Not true according to the survey?
