One day a kind-hearted man was walking along the road when he saw a drain uncovered. Thinking it was dangerous to passer-by, he managed to cover the drain with great efforts. Hardly had he turned round and gone when he heard a sad cry coming from the drain, so he had to turn back and move the cover away.

  To his great surprise, a worker, who had been repairing the drain inside, came out with a tool in his hand. The kind-hearted man had hoped to do something good, but went contrary to his wishes.
