    【题目】The airline pilot announced over the intercom (对讲机), “Folks, I've got good news and bad news for you. The bad news is... we're lost. The good news is ... we're making great time！”

    It's too easy to live our lives like that, isn't it? Making great time, but not sure if we're heading in the right direction.

    It's been said, “Millions_expect_immortality_______不朽)_but_do_not_know_what_to_do_with_themselves_on_a_rainy_Sunday_afternoon.” The problem is: They know they would like to achieve something important with their lives or to make a difference, but when it comes to making the journey towards those destinations (目的地), they feel stuck. In short, they are lost.

    Author and speaker Danny Cox, in his book Seize The Day, tells of a man who made a great success of his life in spite of many hardships. He didn't want to just sleepwalk through life, nor look back someday and feel regret. The moment that finally turned this man's life around was when he sat down and asked himself four important questions：

    ·What do I really want?

    ·What will it cost?

    ·Am I willing to pay the price?

    ·When is the best time to start paying the price?

    It occurs to me that one of these questions is the most difficult: What do I really want? We need to spend enough time deciding on the answer. But once we figure it out, the other questions will be easy.

    Answer these four questions and we will get clear on the direction we want to take our life. Devote ourselves to these answers and we'll make great time.

    In large cities, UK students are paying almost 6.5 percent more in rent than the previous year. Figures from the UK organization Accommodation for Student show students in big cities such as London paying an average weekly rent of $ 203.

    Yet, despite students’ suffering, the number of this year’s university applications is expected to grow. During economic slumps, people regard further education as a way to survive tough job market.
