It has been thirty years since China adopted its reform and opening up policy and great changes have taken place in various fields.

With the nine-year compulsory education, children all have the chance to be educated．In 2008, the number of students admitted into universities reaches up to 6 million, which is15 times as large as that of 1978．In the last 30 years, China has made great progress in science and technology．In 2003, China launched its first manned spaceship and fulfilled its first space walk in 2008．As economy is developing fast, people’s income has greatly been increased and their living conditions have amazingly improved．Besides, there have also been great changes in sports．The 29^th Olympics were successfully hosted in Beijing and Chinese athletes won the most gold medals．

I’m really proud of the great achievements in the past 30 years．It is the leadership of the Communist Party and the great efforts of us Chinese people that make all these possible．Nowadays, people are working hard towards a more advanced and harmonious society．I’m sure China will have a brighter future and Chinese people will live a happier life．
