    The book is divided into six parts：food，medicine，toys，accidental things，names，and I find the book great because if not for the book，I would never have known that something was actually accidentally created．Besides，I like to learn real information；I can't stand books with stories that aren't real．Although this is a non-fiction book and is about inventions，it is not a history of technology book；it's more of an easy reading book．This book would be attractive to both boys and girls，and it could actually be either an adult book or a children's book．
    Published in 1991，the book is a bit old and is showing its age now in 2016．Still，it contains lots of great information，even though some facts are not exact．I love the idea of a mistakes book，and I especially like the format，which allows readers to dip in and out of the book easily．However，the entries are not all equally strong．Additionally，if you don't live in the US，the book makes little sense，since it is full of American references both historically and in terms of customs．
    Anyway，Mistakes that Worked is a reminder that failure is not always the end．It is an enlightening book that encourages us to realize that taking risks and learning to experiment is often the best way to learn，even if we don't end up creating something new and wonderful．

    Once we had been fully entertained by the dancers，we finally went inside for the Calatada and it was soon revealed to me what it actually was．We sat down at the table and a huge plate of leeks（大葱）was placed in front of us．It was explained to us that you have to peel the leeks with your fingers，dip them in a （delicious@!） sauce and eat them．This sounds easier than it was．
    My friend had been right in the end，it had been an extremely fun day and it felt great to get involved in a local tradition of a place I am temporarily calling home．It really inspired me to learn more about the Catalan culture，although hopefully next time it will be something less messy!

    Bite Wounds

    Burns
    Wash the burn immediately with large amounts of cool，running water．Apply an ice pack for 15-20minutes．Do not place an ice pack directly on the skin．Wrap the pack in a light towel or other covers．If the animal has large quantities of dry chemicals on its skin，brush them off．Water may activate some dry chemicals．
    Fractures（骨折）
    Symptoms include pain，inability to use a limb（肢，肢体）．Wear a mask for the pet and look for bleeding．If you can control the bleeding without causing more injury，then do so．Watch for signs of shock．Don't try to set the fractures by pulling the limb．Transport the pet to a veterinarian immediately，supporting the injured part as best as you can．
