In the Golden Week, my family and I went to Beijing for holiday. On Oct. 1st, we got up very early to take part in the flag-raising ceremony on the Tian An Men Square. Watching the flag rising in the brilliant sun, we were quite excited and proud of our motherland, singing together with at least 200,000 people coming from all over the country. During the next few days, we visited the world-famous sights in Beijing, such as / like the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and certainly the Forbidden City, which has unbelievably large numbers of precious treasures. Also, I talked a lot with foreigners in English there. Oh! seven days is too short to learn about such a vast city/about this mega city. How I wish I could go and study in my dream university there in two years! In that case, I would have enough time to explore it.
