Last week I got the first prize in the English Speech Contest held in our school.Which made me very excited.I used to be too shy to speak English in the public.It was Susan who asked me practice several times in her office and correct my pronunciation and intonation.Beside,she encouraged me to be confident and brave whether I wanted to show my talent before others.I followed her advices.That was why I won the first prize.I am deep moved by what he has done for me.I owe her a thousand thanks with her kindness.

Last week I got the first prize in the English Speech Contest held in our school.Which made me very excite

              deeply                      she                                                                    for
解析:
1.which---It/That. Last week I got the first prize in the English Speech Contest held in our school.Which made me very excited两句之间是句号,所以不是主从复合句,所以不用关系代词which代指我获奖这件事,而用It/That.
2.去掉 the.
3.practice前加to.考查非谓语动词.ask sb.to do sth. Susan  asked me practice several times in her office,表示"Susan要求我在她的办公室练习了几次".
4.correct---corrected.
5.Beside---Besides. Besides.
6.whether---if. 根据句子she encouraged me to be confident and brave whether I wanted to show my talent before others.
7.advices---advice.
8.deep---deeply. I am deep moved by what he has done for me可知deep修饰动词move,所以用副词deeply.
9.he---she.
10.with---for. 根据 her kindness是I owe her a thousand thanks 的原因,所以用for表示原因.

12.Much time and effort has been dedicated to researching the mental health benefits of flexible work environments,but can the ability to leave work early to watch your son's soccer game,or arrive at the office a bit later in the morning in order to see to some personal affairs,have broader physical health benefits beyond making you feel a bit less exhausted?
According to new research published in the Cochrane Library's Cochrane database of Systematic Reviews,it seems so.In a review of 10previous studies examining the health implications of flexible work conditions for more than 16,000people,researchers found that flexible work schedules---when employees can shift their starting times,for example---were associated with improvements in blood pressure,sleep and overall mental health.Specifically,the review showed that more flexibility in work schedules was associated with improvements in alertness,sleep quality,tiredness,heart rate and other primary health outcomes,as well as benefits to secondary health outcomes,such as sensed social support in the workplace and sense of community.And,perhaps unsurprisingly,in all of the studies included in the review,researchers found no evidence for negative effects of more flexible work schedules.
This primary analysis was intended to shed light on the potential health benefits of flexible work options,which are increasingly popular throughout Scandinavia,and have recently gained some ground in the U.K.In the U.S.,the phenomenon is a bit slower to catch on---fewer than a third of U.S.employees have flexible work options,according to estimates from the AARP.Yet,the economic recession(衰退) of recent years may have contributed to growth in workplace flexibility---as companies unable to reward employees with bonuses or raises may turn to other forms of compensation(补偿).Reuters reported early last year.
Previous research too,of course,has indicated the benefits of flexible work environments toward positive mental health outcomes.And while these latest findings are promising,the researchers stress that more study is vital to understanding the subtle relationship between flexible work and improved health outcomes.For example,employees who are most frequently granted workplace leeway(时间等的充裕) are generally higher-ranking,and as such are likely of higher socioeconomic status,which could impact their overall health apart from work scheduling.To truly grasp the benefits of flexible working conditions,the researchers say,additional study analyzing health outcomes among a wider range of workers---from high-ranking executives to hourly employees---is critical to gaining a deeper understanding of the issue,and helping to shape future workplace policy.
50.Which of the following can best summarize the passage?D
A.The reason why more and more countries adopt flexible work options.

C.Why flexible work options benefits workers in mind.

B.Flexibility in work schedules has nothing to do with health.
C.Flexible work can benefit people mentally and physically.
D.Flexible work can greatly improve employees'work efficiency.
52.According to what Reuters reported early last year,what result has recent years'economy recession brought?B

1.Few laws are so effective that you can see results just days after they take effect. But in the nine days since the federal cigarette tax more than doubled-to $ 1.01 per pack-smokers have jammed telephone"quit lines"across the country seeking to kick the habit.
This is not a surprise to public health advocates. They've studied the effect of state tax increases for years, finding that smokers, especially teens, are price sensitive.Nor is it a shock to the industry, which fiercely fights every tax increase.
The only wonder is that so many states insist on closing their ears to the message.Tobacco taxes improve public health, they raise money and most particularly, they deter people from taking up the habit as teens, which is when nearly all smokers are addicted.Yet the rate of taxation varies widely.
In Manhattan, for instance, which has the highest tax in the nation,a pack of Marlboro Light Kings cost 10.06 at one drugstore Wednesday. In Charleston,S.C.,where the 7-cent-a-pack tax is the lowest in the nation, the price was  4.78.
    The influence is obvious.
In New York, high school smoking hit a new low in the latest surveys-13.8%,far below the national average.By comparison,26% of high school students smoke in Kentucky.Other low-tax states have similarly depressing teen-smoking records.
Hal Rogers,Representative from Kentucky, like those who are against high tobacco taxes, argues that the burden of the tax falls on low-income Americans"who choose to smoke."
That's true. But there is more reason in keeping future generations of low-income workers from getting hooked in the first place. As for today's adults,if the new tax drives them to quit, they will have more to spend on their families, cut their risk of cancer and heart disease and feel better.

61.The text is mainly aboutC.
A.the price of cigarettes
B.the rate of teen smoking
C.the effect of tobacco tax increase
D.the differences in tobacco tax rate
62.What does the author think is a surprise?B
A.Teen smokers are price sensitive.
B.Some states still keep the tobacco tax low.
C.Tobacco taxes improve public health.
D.Tobacco industry fiercely fights the tax rise.
63.The underlined word"deter"in Paragraph 3 most probably meansA.
A.discourage         B.remove            C.benefit                    D.free
64.Rogers'attitude towards the low-income smokers might be that ofD.
A.tolerance           B.unconcern              C.doubt               D.sympathy
65.What can we learn from the last paragraph?A
A.The new tax will be beneficial in the long run.
B.Low-income Americans are more likely to fall ill.
C.Future generations will be hooked on smoking.
D.Adults will depend more on their families.
