Recently our class held a discussion about whether middle school students should do housework at home. Some students think students should do housework at home, saying that doing housework is also a kind of exercise which can actually help us learn better and we can learn how to take care of ourselves by doing housework. However, some other students do not think so. They say students have too much work at school and should concentrate on studies.

Personally speaking, I think students should help their parents do housework at home. Doing housework can help us understand our parents better and make it possible for them to have enough time to have a rest. As we know, they are often tired after working for a long day. Lastly, we all have to learn to live an independent life some day.
