When I began to learn English before about ten years ago, I wasn't very interesting in it. As a result, I didn't learn it well. My mother thought it was important of me to learn English well, but she became worried. Lucky for me, one of our neighbor named Jenny was good at English. My mother let her teach me English in my free time. Jenny was a wonderful teacher. She helped us realize that English was beautiful language. I fell in love with the language soon and decided to learning it well. In the following three years, I practice English with her and could finally speak it fluently.

【答案】①去掉before ②interesting改为interested ③of改为for ④but改为so ⑤Lucky改为Luckily ⑥neighbor改为neighbors ⑦us改为me ⑧was后面加a ⑨learning改为learn ⑩practice改为practiced
句意:当大约十年前开始学习英语,“about ten years ago”表示大约十年前,before多余。 It is+形容词+for/of sb. to do sth. 故把of改为for。 故加上a。 decide后面跟to do sth.,故把learning改为learn.⑩时态误用。本篇一直介绍过去的事情,用一般过去时,并根据“In the following three years”也是表达过去的时间,故把practice改为practiced.
