Life can be so difficult these days. It is the time that you all should admit need help in organizing your lives. Here are some tips that will help you.

Write everything down and do not rely on your memory. 1. If you want to remember things, put them in writing, or in a digital notebook. Keeping your to-do lists and other information written somewhere allows you to look back at them anytime, ever when you have hit your head and forgotten your own name.

2. Try this experiment before buying one thing, throw out something old or something you do not use. Or, if you are a really pack rat, just throw out one old thing a day until you can not find any more items to throw.

Recycle and donate. Is your closet full of unopened bags and clothes that still have their tags on? Is your bookshelf full of unread books? Chances are that if you have not read, worn, or used whatever they are, then you are probably not going to use them at all. 3.

Create daily, weekly and monthly timetables for cleaning. Organize your cleaning timetable.

4. Distribute tasks evenly, so for example, dish washing could be done daily; while vacuuming could be done weekly and cleaning the windows done monthly.

Whichever of these tasks you decide to do, remember that you can not completely organize your life in one go. 5. Just decide to get organized now, and then take baby steps. Soon enough, you will be making a habit out of it all.

A.Practice putting things away immediately

B.Throw one thing before buying something.

C.It is a long and never-ending process, so be patient.

D.Give them to a charity or sell on the internet.

E.It is extremely exhausting to clean everything all at once.

F.To keep up with tasks, you need to work with your family.

G.We all agree most of us have a tough time remembering things.

When we’re young and we dream of love and fulfillment, we think perhaps of moon-covered Parisian nights or walks along the beach at sunset. No one tells us that the greatest moments of a lifetime are short, unplanned and nearly always catch us off guard.

Not long ago,as I was reading a bedtime story to my seven-year-old daughter, Annie,I became aware of her focused look. She was staring at me with a faraway, blank expression. Apparently, completing The Tale of Samuel Whiskers was not as important as we first thought.

I asked what she was thinking about. “Mommy,” she whispered, “I just can't stop looking at your pretty face.”I almost dissolved(溶解) on the spot. Little did she know how many trying moments the glow of her sincerely loving statement would carry me through over the following years.

Not long after, I took my four-year-old son to an elegant department store, where the sweet notes of a classic love song drew us toward a tuxedoed(穿晚礼服的) musician playing a grand piano. Sam and I sat down on a marble bench nearby, and he seemed as astonished by the pleasant theme as I was. I didn’t realize that Sam had stood up next to me until he turned, took my face in his little hands and said, “Dance with me.”

If only those women walking under the Paris moon knew the joy of such an invitation made by a round-cheeked boy with baby teeth. Although shoppers openly chuckled(咯咯笑) and pointed at us as we glided and whirled(旋转) around the open space, I would not have traded a dance with such a charming young gentleman if I'd been offered the universe.

1.From the passage we know .

A. Annie knew how important she was to her mother

B. shoppers didn’t notice the author dancing with her son

C. there are bedtime stories in the Tale of Samuel Whiskers

D. Sam was not surprised at the music which was played in the store

2.When the author knew her daughter could not stop looking at her pretty face, she felt .

A. sad B. deeply moved

C. annoyed D. ashamed

3.Why wouldn’t the author trade a dance with her son even if she was given the world?

A. Because she knew she wouldn’t be given the universe.

B. Because her son was the most important person to her.

C. Because she thought she was the happiest one at the moment.

D. Because it was very important for the author to dance with her son.

4.What does the author want to prove by showing two examples of her kids?

A. Her kids love her very much.

B. She enjoys staying with her kids.

C. The greatest moments of a lifetime always come unexpectedly.

D. Those women walking under the moon should enjoy the happiness with kids.

Alexis was hot and tired. With rage in her voice she shouted, "Pull me up!I give up, I hate this. This is stupid!" It was at that moment when Jason, the adviser on the trip, looked at me and said, "Ed, I'm going to go down and talk with her." I then shouted down to Alexis, "Hold on! You can do this. We know you can!"

Jason grasped another rope, put his climbing harness(系带) on and began to move down the cliff. Within moments Jason was beside Alexis. She had her cheek directly against the face of the rock with her feet barely resting on a small piece of the cliff that stuck outward. Jason said to Alexis, "I know that you have been on this cliff now for what seems like a long time. Your feet and fingers are cramping(痉挛) up and your forearms feel as though they are on fire. But, Alexis, you are strong, look how far up you are already. You have taken one of the more difficult paths up the cliff. Alexis, look at the path you have taken."

At that moment, Alexis moved her cheek away from the rock face and looked down. The bright white chalk she used in her hands to give her a better hold, showed the path where her tired hands had moved her upward on the cliff. Jason was right. Alexis had taken the hardest way up the cliff. Jason then looked straight into Alexis' eyes and in a calm voice he said, "You are not alone out here, there are people who care about you, who want to help you and see you succeed. I sat at my seat waiting for the school paper to be passed around. I waited anxiously, knowing that once I received it I would know how good a writer I really am.

When the paper arrived at my classroom, I nearly knocked down five of my classmates to get to the first paper. With the school paper in my hands, I returned to my seat. About a month earlier, I had handed in one of, what I believed to be, my best stories. I named it Symbol of Success. The head of the English Department at my school, Professor Cullen, had said that she would include some reviews of students' stories in the latest school paper. Professor Cullen was known for her rough criticism. Impressing her was very hard but I wanted to be the first to do so.

I sat at the edge of my seat as I read through the other story reviews. There wasn't one story that got more than three stars .I became calm and wasn't anxious to know my review. It was long after that I heard someone shout out "Five stars?! Seriously !" from behind me. I turned around and saw the shocked expression of Gene's face, "Peter, your story got five stars!" I couldn't believe what I had heard . I turned my attention back to my story and saw the five stars at the end of the review that I had not read yet. I looked through the review written by Professor Cullen. She wrote that I had a gift for story writing.

I was proud that I achieved what I thought was impossible. For so long I believed I wasn't as good as I thought I was and that my talent was not enough to cover up my lack of writing skills. But this review proved that I was truly a good writer and that there was a future ahead of me in the field of fiction writing. The review and the five stars meant the world of me. Those five stars became the symbol of my success.

1.How did the writer get the school paper?

A. He rushed ahead to get the first one.

B. His friend helped him get the first one.

C. The publisher sent it to him first

D. His teacher gave it to him first.

2.What can we learn about Professor Cullen?

A. She was very cold to her students.

B. She was hated by her students.

C. She seldom praised her students.

D. She was very gentle to everyone

3.We can learn from this text that Peter _______.

A. had thought his story was better than those of others

B. was always anxious to know the other story reviews

C. looked through a few stories that got four stars

D. didn't know he got five stars until someone told him

4.Why did the review and the five stars mean the world to Peter?

A. Because they helped him learn writing skills

B. Because they made him see his writing talent.

C. Because they helped him enter a key university

D. Because they made him happy for some time
