The reasons are simple。For one thing ，it is cheaper and more convenient than the motorbike or the car 。what is more important is that it saves strength and goes fast and the rider feels less tired 。for another ，it is easy for anybody to drive ，whether the old or the young 。what’s more ，it is not just energy saving but environmentally friendly as well。

As the saying goes ，every coin has two sides。The electric bicycle also has its disadvantages 。on the one hand ，the rider may lost the chance to do sport ，which is not beneficial to health 。on the other hand ，it may lead to more traffic accidents because it goes very fast and its emergency brakes don’t work well。

Personally ，I am of the opinion that the electric bicycle has more advantages 。the electric bicycle is】 a good means of transportation 。as long as the rider drives carefully ，the number of accidents it causes can be reduced to the minimum。
