¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿How teens can stay fit

Any type of regular, physical activity can improve your fitness and your health. ¡¾1¡¿

Exercise should be a regular part of your day, like brushing your teeth, eating and sleeping. It can be in gym class, joining a sports team, or working out on your own. Keep the following tips in mind:

¡¾2¡¿ A good attitude is important. Find an activity that you think is fun. You are more likely to stick with it if you choose something you like. A lot of people find it's more fun to exercise with someone else, so see if you can find a friend or family member to be active with you.

Take it one step at a time. ¡¾3¡¿ For example, walk or ride your bike to school. Get on or off the bus several blocks away and walk the rest of the way. Use the stairs instead of taking the elevator.

Get your heart pumping. Whatever you choose, make sure it includes aerobic (ÓÐÑõµÄ) activity that makes you breathe harder and increases your heart rate. This is the best type of exercise because it increases your fitness level and makes your heart work better. ¡¾4¡¿ Examples of aerobic activities are basketball, running, or swimming.

Don¡¯t forget to warm up with some easy exercises or stretching (ÀÉì) before you do any physical activity. ¡¾5¡¿ It is also important to stretch out after you exercise to cool down your muscles.

A. Do the activity as often as possible, but don't exercise to the point of pain.

B. The most important thing is that you keep moving!

C. Make physical activity a habit.

D. Small changes can add up to better fitness.

E. Stay positive and have fun.

F. This warms your muscles up and may help protect against injury.

G. It also burns off body fat.

Among all my friends are a special one I¡¯m most thankful to. I got to know him when I started with school. He has been with me ever since. Though he looks seriously, he is really fun as you get close him. He is quiet or knowledgeable. He knows every language in the world, all the event in history and the thoughts of great scientists.

My friend is patience. I am slow in understanding, but I can turn to him whenever I have a question. When I am tired, he makes me relaxing. When I am lonely, he stayed with me silently. When I am sad, he cheers me up. Shall I tell you where he is? His name is ¡°READING¡±.

Many of us are familiar to the World Cup, a football competition which is popular among people in almost all nation. Do you know there is another football competition that was well known worldwide? It¡¯s calling the Super Bowl and is held every January in the USA. It is very different from the football we know. However, the more you know about them, the well you will like it. Each year the Super Bowl is played in different American city. This is of great important because it helps make sure that the game is fair. Now the Super Bowl is broadcast on TV all over the world. But if you want to see the Super Bowl lively, you had better to have a lot of money, since the ticket for the game is pretty expensive.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿A man came to the USA from other country. After ¡¾1¡¿ (settle) down at an island, he went into a cafeteria to get something ¡¾2¡¿ (eat). He sat down at an empty table and waited for someone to take his order, but nobody did. ¡¾3¡¿(final), a woman with a tray full of food sat down opposite him and informed him¡¾4¡¿the cafeteria worked.

¡°Start out at that end,¡± she said. ¡°Just go along the line and pick out what you want. At¡¾5¡¿other end they¡¯ll tell you how much you have to pay.¡±

¡°I soon ¡¾6¡¿ (learn) how everything worked in the USA,¡± the man told his friend. ¡°Life¡¯s a cafeteria there. You can get anything you want as long as you are willing to pay the price. You can even get success, ¡¾7¡¿ you¡¯ll never get it if you wait for someone to bring it to you. You have to get up and get it¡¾8¡¿.¡±

You can¡¯t change the inevitable. The only thing you can do ¡¾9¡¿ (be)to control your attitude. Once you reach that point in life, happiness and ¡¾10¡¿ (satisfy) can¡¯t be too far away.
