    "Back home，you pick up some friends in a car and go out and have a good time．In Germany，you walk，but you soon learn to like it．"

    4．Researchers have found out what people really do online-a quarter of their time is spent on social networking sites．The study analyzed （分析） the behavior of 25nullion Internet users worldwide，and found social networking，entertainment and shopping were the most popular way of killing time．
    The UK was shown as the bternet's most popular online shopping nation，defeating North America and Australia．British Internet users spent 10percent of all time online shopping in 2012，compared to nine percent in the US and six percent in Australia．This was partly because of a good Christmas season in the UK where 370million hours were spent shopping online，24percent higher than the monthly average．
    The study also showed Americans are the biggest social media lovers．In the UK 13minutes out of every hour online are spent on social networking and forums （论坛），nine minutes on entertainment sites and six minutes on shopping．In North America，figures  （数据） are similar-16minutes are spent on social media in the US，nine minutes on entertainment and five minutes on shopping Australian Internet users spend 14minutes on social sites，nine minutes on entertainment and four minutes on shopping online．
    More and more people began to read news．Australian users were considered as the most consumers of news online．Six percent of all time spent online in Australia in 2012was on news websites，and it was five percent in the UK and four percent in the US．
    The online situation is changing greatly．There are some changes in users behavior across different places and markets．People are changing the way they communicate online such as the rise of 3G and 4G mobile internet service and so on．
