As you know, there is a tendency that more and more students choose universities in big cities for further study. Recently, our class had a debate over this phenomenon.

Those who prefer large cities mainly want to enjoy the many advantages there. For example, they can get more opportunities, take advantage of the convenient traffic, live more comfortably, and earn more once they get a job there after graduation as the pay is relatively higher in large cities. But there are some others who believe that people should also consider the disadvantages in big cities, such as the fierce competition, heavy traffic, serious pollution and high cost of living.

In my opinion, whether to study in a big city or not depends on various factors, such as your interest, the climate, the living cost, future job hunting. So think before you leap. A wise decision is often the outcome of careful consideration.
