    短文改错

    下面的短文中共有10处语言错误，每句中最多有两处。错误涉及到一个单词的增加、删除或修改。

    增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号(∧)，并在其下面写出该加的词。

    删除：把多余的词用(＼)划掉。

    修改：在错的词下划一道横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。

    注意：

    1．每处错误及其修改均仅限一词。

    2．只允许修改10处，多者(从第11处起)不计分。

    Dear Peter,

    I am writing to ask for whether you are able to do me a favor．I want to have a pen friend, hopefully a girl in the early twenties, and with interests similarly to mine．In my mind, he is someone interested in traveling, swimming, and playing table teenis．However, it would be better for her to have a pet dog as I have been kept one at home for some time．With such a pen friend, I hope I can share with her our experiences in traveling, taking care pets, or whichever we have in common．I believed I will improve my English by doing so and learning more about her country．I am looking forward to hearing from you soon．

    Time is valuable but limit．There's a famous saying, “Time is life”, this shows the importance of time．When time had gone, it will never return．It is a pity when many people make poor use of time．They spend their precious time oversleeping, drinking and hanging around．They don't realize wasting time is equal with wasting part of their life．They always regret having made little achievement so far．However, we should form the habit of value time．Do not put off what can be done today tomorrow．Laziness will not only bring us the failure, but lead us to the road to poverty and even deaths．

         Welcome to the Polynesian Cultural Centre! You are entering a world of funs! My name is called Tera,
    a Polynesian name which mean "the sun". I'm very glad you can come today and learn about some of the
    amazing Polynesian way. As you can see, here behind myself is one of their boats. To build a boat like this,
    you needed a very tall, straight tree. You first cut down the tree and remove the branch. Then you cut the
    tree in half so you have two long pieces of woods. You use one piece to make the boat. Remove the inside
    for a person to sit. Take the bark off the outside of the boat and puts oil on it so it will easily go through
    the sea. Some Polynesian boats have sails.

    Senior three student will face the question after they pass by the college entrance examination. Should I choose a good major and a good university? Some students prefer to consider majors first so that they can learn what they are interested. It will also make it possibly for them to take their favorite jobs in the future. However, those who think differently believes that the environment is important to one’s development. They also believe that students graduate from leading universities are often more likely to find a good job. In my opinion, the best choice is to choose a good major at a good university. But if we can obtain both, the first thing to consider is a good major, because no matter where we study, they can still achieve a lot in the certain field if we try our best.
