Books play an important role in our lives．They give us plenty of foods for thought; that is, they make us think a lot．They give us a lot of knowledge．Thus, there are different kinds of books for different kinds of people; therefore, we must much carefully choose the books that we read．
As far as I am concerning, books are my best friends．During my childhood, my father always bought for me many books and encourages me to read them．No matter how busily I am, I always find time to read．You can find something you want from books．Since books are so important to you, why not cultivate(培养)the good habit of reading?

“How do you know how you’ve had enough?” asked Tom.
