As can be seen, the Lujiang River is not as clean as it used to be. People throw a large amount of rubbish into the river everyday and many factories pour a great deal of waste water into it, causing a serious water pollution. It is time that we did something to protect the river now.
Along with other volunteers, Li Ming and I will pick up the rubbish floating on the river, which may make the river look cleaner. What's more, we intend to give a speech in public to increase people's awareness of protecting our mother river.
Through the efforts of the government and all the citizens in Liling, I'm sure the Lujiang River will take on a new look in the near future.
