Friendship is one of the beautiful things what can happen among human beings. Those who had best friends understand how important friendship is. We can share nearly everything with them and feel greatly when we get their support.
I have such good friend who is a lovely girl. We graduated from the same junior school but now attend the same high school. Having the same hobbies really make me happy. For example, both of us are fond of play volleyball. We’ve made up our mind to studying hard, with the hope to go to a key university together. He is like a family member to me. I believe in our friendship will last forever.
1. what→which/that
2. had→have
3. greatly→great
4. such和good中间加a
5. but→and
6. make→makes
7. play→playing
8. studying→study
9. He→She
10. in→that或去掉in
_____ can happen among human beings为定语从句,修饰先行词things,将先行词代入从句后,在从句中作主语,又因为先行词为物,所以引导词应用which或that,这里要注意what不引导定语从句。故将what改为which/that。
greatly(很,非常)为副词词性,great(极好的)为形容词词性。
故要在such和good之间加a。
graduated from the same junior school(毕业于同一所初中)和now attend the same high school(现在进入了同一所高中)为并列关系,并非转折关系,应用连词and。 故将but改为and。
本句中Having the same hobbies为动名词短语作主语。
be fond of doing意为“喜欢做某事”,是固定短语。
make up one’s mind to do意为“下决心做某事”,是固定短语。
根据第二段句子“I have such a good friend who is a lovely girl.” 故将He改为She。
故将in改为that或将in去掉。

Hello! My name is Lisa, and I am a lioness. I live on the open grasslands of Africa with my family. Lions living in a group are called a pride.
My father is strong and powerful. He and his cousin are the leaders of our pride. The other members are my mother, her sisters, and their children.
The area where a pride lives is big! We roar (咆哮) to tell each other where we are and to warn strangers to stay away.
Meet my new baby brother. His name is Leon. See the spots on his fur? We lions are born spotted or striped As we grow older, the spots gradually disappear.
Lionesses usually spend their entire lives with their birth pride, but Leon will leave when he is about three years old. He’ll run around with a male (雄性的) friend or relative for a few years until they take over a pride of their own.
But for now, we have lots of fun together. We often play and fight for hours, which can help us practice skills that we will need for hunting.
We lions keep ourselves very clean. Just like a house cat, I clean my fur (毛) with my tongue. We clean for each other, too, to show we’re friends.
Lions like to sleep for most of the day. We hunt in the cool evening. Female (雌性的) lions hunt more often than male lions. We work together as a team. At the right moment, we attack and kill our prey. Then we share it. Male lions usually eat first. Females eat next. Baby lions are the last to eat. The smallest one gets the least food.
Since we are full, it’s time to go to find a nice place for a sleep. Bye!

A knitting factory in Bangladesh brings together the past, present, and the future. On one floor, workers knit by hand. On another, people and machines do the work together. And on a third floor, there are only robots.
This building might seem outdated, given the accepted wisdom that robots will replace humans in textiles and many other industries. But it is actually a wise response to how the Fourth Industrial Revolution will likely play out in Asia. As is the case elsewhere, technological progress is rapidly changing industries and economies across the world.
However, much of Asia isn’t ready for robots, for reasons that go beyond fears of mass unemployment. Poorer countries face great barriers to adopting new technologies. Moreover, the region’s lower wages encourage companies to keep human workers. At the factory in Bangladesh, human workers can step in if power or equipment failures knock the machines offline. At the same time, having a fully automated section allows production to continue if workers go on strike.
Conventional wisdom believes that this dual-track(双轨的)approach isn’t sustainable, and that low-to middle-skilled workers will eventually make way for robots. However, these pessimistic predictions ignore the fact that most jobs consist of lots of tasks, some of which cannot be automated.
Still, robots are gaining foothold in the region, particularly in economies such as China and the Republic of Korea. In 2015, robot sales in Asia increased by 19 percent-the fourth record-breaking year in a row. When less-developed Asian countries eventually join the technology trend, layoffs will inevitably follow. To soften the blow, governments urgently need to pursue labor-market reforms and examine their education systems, starting with technical and vocational education and training (TVET). Although TVET is becoming increasingly popular in Asia’s developing economies, its quality is often poor. Governments should ensure that TVET courses focus on more relevant skills, while remaining flexible so that students can study without sacrificing income.
【1】What does the author think of the knitting factory?
A.Fashionable.B.Complicated.C.Brilliant.D.Wasteful.
【2】Why did robots fail to be widely applied in Asia?
A.Power failures often occur in factories.
B.Some countries are not fully prepared.
C.Unemployment has caused many problems.
D.Some countries are too poor to adopt the new technology.
【3】What is the reason behind governments’ reforms?
A.To make robots more popular.
B.To raise the quality of education.
C.To reduce the influence of robots.
D.To improve the income of students.
【4】What might be talked about in the following paragraph?
A.Measures to resist robots.
B.Ways to improve TVET courses.
C.Some policies to support workers.
D.The future of the dual-track approach.

Two years ago, I was in great depression. I worked hard at learning the piano and devoted all my spare time to practice it. But I fail to pass the B Level Test, which made me quite disappointing. So I turned to my grandpa for suggestions when I got home. Hearing that I told him, he smiled. Then he said, “Test results sometimes cannot show my real ability and level. Thus, your progress should not judged only by one test.” He encouraged me to study harder to the next year’s B Level Test. I took my grandpa’s advices. Now the certificate of B Level is in the front of me, and I’ve realized that the process of learning are more important.
