Lily is one of the pupils who is studying in Dongshan Primary School. One day, in her way to school£¬Lily found a wallet lay on the road. She picked it up and found a lot of money and a calling card in them. She thought the loser must be worried. Without the wallet, she went to a public telephone and called on the owner. Then she waited at the bus-stop. The owner came by taxi in a moment. Lily gave the wallet to her. The owner was very thankful that she took out a 100-yuan note to reward Lily. But he refused it and went to school. Seen this, the owner raised her thumb and praised Lily helping her in time again and again.

I was taking a train to London¡¯s Victoria Station. I had noticed that the carriage was noise and filled with people. Before long, a train inspector comes to check out tickets. A passenger realized he couldn¡¯t find his ticket but became quite upset. Then everyone in the carriage began searching the ticket, that was eventually found under a seat several rows from its owner. The person who found a ticket smiled with pleasure at his success. No one in the carriage had previous spoken to or even noticed the ticket-owner before. Yet, they had so quickly offered the strangers their help. If we could show concern to others on need, the world would be a better place to live in.

This morning, I, together with my parents, go to the second-hand book market near my home. There were so much people that we had to push their way through the crowd. Though the market was terribly noisy, but we felt quite pleasing to be able to pick up a really good bargain. Just as we were ready leave, however, a heavy rain began to pour down. Instead of seek shelter, my parents suggested we help a couple of stall owner pack their books. Under our help, all the books were free from the rain. Our timely help was great appreciated.

My summer travel started terribly. I was at the Shanghai Railway Station buy a ticket to Hang Zhou. I was going to visit a friend here and after that I would go to Xiamen for long holiday. I bought my ticket but turned around to pick up my bag from the floor and then I realized that someone has stolen it. Unluckily, I had all my money in my pocket, but the only clothes I had was those I had on. It was very strange to travel without any luggages. When I finally arrived at my friend, he lent me lots of clothes. I felt very happy about that I could change my clothes at last.

¡¾ÌâÄ¿¡¿College graduation eventually means taking much of your attention in your first job search. This process can be challenging, especially for those students who had second thoughts about their chosen major and intended career path ¡ª or those who majored in a field not directly connected to a specific career. If you are in one of these groups, fear not! Although your major, coursework, and academic performance are relevant to landing a job, they are not the only deciding factors on where you can work. So, just how important is your major to your job search?
Some majors are tied directly to specific career fields. For example, if you wish to become a teacher, you will likely have needed to complete an education program and eventually sit for a licensing exam. Successfully completing a specific major is very important to landing a job in the matching field.
Other majors, however, are closely related to career paths but don¡¯t necessarily require a degree in the area. For example, students who majored in finance or math, may also have the necessary skills to be hired as an accountant.
Lastly, there are many industries, such as professional sales, education (non-teaching positions), insurance, and customer service management, which hire new graduates from several more majors, looking for more generalized (ÁýͳµÄ) requirements. They may simply want to know the student has completed his or her bachelor¡¯s degree, which proves students¡¯ college-level math and writing, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Hopefully, as a college student, you were able to do more than just attend classes. Your non-academic experiences can be very influential on your future career as well. If you worked or volunteered during college and if you enjoyed these activities, seek out related careers. You may qualify for a position regardless of your major.
Although it often seems like your college major alone determines your career fate, this just isn¡¯t the case. It may influence it, but there are other factors that influence your career options as well. If you don¡¯t know what career choices you have, talk to your faculty or academic adviser. You may be surprised at what opportunities await!

Dear Mr. Cousins,
Since you are a well-known musician, I¡¯m writing this e-mail to ask you for some advices on how to form a band.
I, together by two boys and two girls from different classes in our school, wanted to form a band. We are all fond of pop music and modern dance, but they still have many problems to solve. I¡¯d like to know that we should play one kind of music or different style to start with. And is it enough to practice only at weekends? Why can we get more chances to perform? In addition, we¡¯d appreciate if you would be come up with a name for our band.
Thanks to your considering our above questions, Mr. Cousins. I¡¯m looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua

For many people, music has always been part of life, and they listen to music on radio, on iPod and on Internet. As is vividly showing in the picture, the music fan is trying to download songs he enjoys. But the website requires payment first every time he wanted to download something, that annoys him. How he wishes the music is all free!
Many people are used to free music being downloaded from the Internet without realizing they have done harm for others¡¯ right. Music artists work very hardly to compose music. If not paid, he will lose enthusiasm to go ahead, and gradually we will find beautiful musics nowhere.
