My friend Nick told me story about his experience back in the US. which was very interested. One day he was having a yard sale and the old man living next door come by to help. As the old man looked over the things on the yard that were to be sold he stopped at a box of golden ball for Christmas trees. On the box was a card Say: ¡°25 cents each..¡± ¡°You will never sell these for that much.¡± he told Nick. Convinced , Nick has brought the price up to 10 cents a piece. Without a moment¡¯s delay, my neighbor pricked up the box but announceed:¡± I ¡¯ll take them.¡±

Our class have had a discussing recently on whether it is necessary to start learning English from childhood. Some for it. As little boys and girls have had a very good memory, they can learn a lot of English words by heart very easy. This will help their future English learning. While others don¡¯t agree. They think children have to learning Chinese pinyin at school. If they study Chinese pinyin and English at same time, it will be very easy for them to mix it up. This will do a lot of harm to their Chinese learning and their future English learning. For short, we have not arrived at some agreement yet.

When I was in high school, most of my friend had bicycles. I hoped I could also have it. One day I saw a second-hand bicycle, that was only one hundred yuan. I asked my father the money. But he said he could only give me half of the money. He should find the other half myself. So I went to sell newspapers after the school. My father was pleased if I showed him the money a month after. He gives me the other fifty. You can imagine how much happy I was when I rode to school on my own bicycle.
